I love my skin to glow, so I usually skip powder. But if there was one range to tempt me into wearing face powder, it’s Parure Gold. It’s one of the first ranges I recommend when someone says they want radiant-looking skin. The Parure Gold Diamond Powder claims to set makeup and blur pores, all while imparting a healthy radiance to your skin. Here’s my review…
Our First Impressions
I was pleasantly surprised. I usually skip powder as I hate looking matte. But the Guerlain Diamond Powder didn’t make my face look flat or cling to dry patches (my powder pet peeve). The formula is lightweight, so it’s almost undetectable on the skin. I used it on my T-zone to keep shine at bay. My skin looked smooth and blurred but still glowed.
Any reservations you have about loose powder clogging your pores or looking cakey can be forgotten with the Diamond Micro Powder. It’s one of the most finely milled formulas we’ve tried; it’s silky smooth, blends into the skin with ease and is undetectable on the skin. The only evidence you’ve applied it is that your complexion looks flawless! The addition of 24-karat gold sets this face powder apart; the skin is matte with a natural and healthy radiance.
- Sets makeup and blurs pores.
- Light as air texture that feels comfortable.
- Luxurious frosted jar with a gold cap and velvet puff inside.
- Skincare-infused! Including 24-karat gold to boost radiance.
- Four shades that cover all skin tones.
The Formula
The Skin Diamond Powder has a light-as-air texture that you can barely feel on the skin. Like other Parure Gold formulas, the powder is infused with 24-karat gold and diamond powder to boost radiance. What’s unique about this formula is that the powders are coated in oil to ensure maximum comfort all day.

The Finish
It’s a mattifying powder. That said, it looks very natural; it doesn’t look flat or take the dimension from your face. Your skin looks subtly airbrushed afterwards.
The Shades
The loose powder comes in four shades to suit all skin tones:
• 01 – Transparent
• 02 – Light
• 03 – Medium
• 04 – Deep.
How To Use It:
After lightly tapping the powder on a flat surface with the lid closed, adapt your application method depending on the desired result:
For glowy finish: apply loose powder solely to shine-prone areas of the T-zone (forehead, bridge and wings of the nose and chin), using the integrated powder puff.
To blur: apply powder all over the face using a fluffy brush.
For a matte finish: apply powder all over the face using the integrated powder puff.
