Standard Service
- During certain promotions order volumes are so high we cannot offer our normal 2 day dispatch service, we will however dispatch all orders as soon as possible using the 2 day service.
- Orders will be processed and dispatched within 5 working days from confirmation.
- Free delivery is only available on the cash spend on the basket, any voucher, gift cards or Pretty Pennies used towards the cost of the basket will not count towards the £30.00 needed to qualify for free delivery.
- For the following post codes delivery will be subject to a 3 day service from dispatch: HS, KW, ZE2+3, JE, GY and IM.
- If your order is large and bulky it may be automatically upgraded to a 1 day service.
Collect In Store
- We only have one store here in Cardiff; Central Pharmacy, 63-67 Wellfield Road, Cardiff. CF24 3PA.
- Central Pharmacy opening hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 5:30pm excluding bank holidays.
- Orders of in-stock items received before 11am Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays) will be available to collect after 4pm in 2 workings day. Orders placed after this time will be available from 4pm 3 working days after the order was placed (excluding bank holidays).
- Orders placed after 12pm on Friday and over the weekend will be available to collect from 4pm on the following Tuesday(excluding bank holidays).
- The delivery date stated is indicative and subject to availability, payment authorisation, verification and processing.
- When you order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation. It will be available for collection from 4pm the next day. Please bring a copy of this email and ID with you to collect your order.
2 Day Service
- Orders must be placed before 10:30pm with no issues to ensure delivery on the specified date is met.

1 Day Service
- Orders must be placed before 4:30pm with no issues to ensure delivery on the specified date is met.
- For the following post codes delivery will be subject to a 2 day service: JE, GY, IM, HS2, PA61-PA75, PA78, ZE2+3, KW16-17, PH30 and PH41-PH44.
All UK Services
- Services available to United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland), The Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
- Post codes are required on all UK shipments, if it is not entered during the check out process dispatch of your order may be delayed.
- Delivery days are considered to be Monday to Saturday of any week excluding any Public or Bank Holidays in any part of the United Kingdom.
- If your order is over £100 in value a signature may be required on delivery.
- Orders delivered to Bailiwick of Jersey, the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the Isle of Man will not be scanned at the door step.
- You can track the status of your items at www.royalmail.com/trackandtrace
- If your order does not reach you within the time stated please contact us immediately and we can refund your postage charge. If you do not contact us within 7 days we will not be able to refund your postage charge. Any claims for non-delivery of an item over 7 days from the stated delivery date will not be accepted.
- If you are not in when delivery is attempted a card should be left and your parcel will be returned to your local courier delivery depot. You can then rearrange delivery/ collection of your parcel using the tracking number provided.

- All orders are passed on to couriers for delivery and as such if the delivery service is not met we can accept no responsibility for any further costs these delays may cause.
- If a valid email address and mobile telephone number is provided, the courier will contact you to confirm the delivery date and final delivery of your order.
- Any claims for non-delivery of a parcel need to be made within 7 days of the delivery date given in your dispatch email otherwise we will not be able to process your claim.
- If your order shows as delivered and you have not received the item, please let us know immediately. We will then start an initial investigation with Royal Mail this process normally takes 72hrs, pending the outcome of the initial investigation we then may be able to process your claim or have to raise the claim further with Royal Mail. This can take up to 30 days and will require you to complete a P91 form from Royal Mail, in these circumstances a claim will not be processed until Royal Mail have confirmed the return of the P91 form.
- If there are any signs of damage to the outer packaging we strongly advise to refuse the order at the point of delivery. If this is not possible please let our courier know to mark the delivery as damaged upon receipt. If you do choose to accept the damaged order please make sure to take photos of the outer packaging as you've received it and contact our customer service department within 7 days of the delivery date. Any claims made after this time will not be accepted.
- We are sorry, but we can't change the delivery address of a parcel once your order has been processed.
- We are unable to process any claims for non delivery if your order is delivered to a work address, student halls, block of flats or other building with a communal delivery point and the tracking on your order is confirmed as delivered.
- We strongly advise that you do not choose to deliver your order to a freight forwarding address, any claims for non-delivery will not be processed if the tracking on your order is confirmed as delivered, also as any issues with the order need to be reported within 7 days of the delivery date given in your dispatch email which means if you are not the direct recipient of the parcel it may not be checked correctly upon receipt.
- If an incorrect, incomplete or invalid address is given for delivery we are unable to process any claims for the parcel not being delivered, please let us know however and we will contact you if it is returned to us.
- We will try our best to send all your products in a single delivery. The only reason we'd split deliveries is if they were over the carrier's size and weight restrictions - or if a product is out of stock, in which case we will contact you to let you know.
- If an item on your order is out of stock it will be dispatched as soon as we receive new stock and the delivery will be 2 days from dispatch.
- We will do our utmost to dispatch your order for delivery within the estimated dates however they may be subject to external circumstances that we have no control over such a extreme weather conditions etc.
- Due to Royal Mail restrictions, orders containing either; over 2 pressurised containers, over 4 fragrances (or other products containing alcohol) under 150ml, any fragrance (products containing alcohol) over 150ml or 4 nail varnishes will be dispatched using a 2 day courier service - this should not affect you delivery date estimate.
- Due to courier restrictions, orders containing either; over 2 pressurised containers, over 4 fragrances (or other products containing alcohol) under 150ml, any fragrance (products containing alcohol) over 150ml or 4 nail varnishes are unable to be shipped to Northern Ireland. Our customer service team will contact you regarding your order if this is the case.
European Delivery
IMPORTANT
Due to Brexit, from 1st January 2021, all shipments will be shipped upon a DDU (delivery duty unpaid) basis. This means you, the buyer, WILL be liable to pay local sales taxes and customs duties on your order. You will need to pay these costs to release your order from customs before it is delivered to you.
All prices quoted for delivery to outside of the UK do not include VAT, this will be charged upon delivery of your order.
Please note that these costs will vary by country and Escentual is unable to advise on the amount that they may be and cannot accept responsibility for these costs.

All European Services
- Orders placed after the Christmas cut off times will be dispatched as normal, however they may be delayed in the postal service due to the festive period and may not arrive until mid to late January.
- Christmas cut off times and dates only apply to in stock items.
- Please note that there is maximum weight limit on international orders of 2kg, if your order exceeds this weight it may be held while we contact you to take extra payment.
- We will do our utmost to dispatch your order for delivery within the estimated dates however they may be subject to external circumstances that we have no control over such a extreme weather etc.
- Some brands restrict delivery outside of the UK and EEC. Please refer to any delivery restrictions on the product pages.
- Due to the recent changes and restrictions on mail in the UK international orders will take 2-3 days working days to enter the postal system, any tracking information may not be available until after this time.
- Please note that any customs charges are payable by the buyer and we take no responsibility for these charges.
- All parcels will have customs declarations on the outside of the parcel stating the value of the contents, this is a legal requirement and cannot be amended.
- We take no responsibility if customs open a parcel, remove any contents or destroy restricted goods, these vary from country to country and as such are the buyers responsibility to find out. We will not process any claims for missing items if a parcel has been opened by a customs department, this is the recipients duty to claim with the relevant custom department.
