Escentual Points
You earn 2 Points for every pound that you spend with us on a product by product basis. If you’d like to spend those Points, each one is the equivalent of 1p.
So if you spend £50 you would earn 100 Points!
How does it work?
- Every time you buy a product you earn Points.
- You will earn 2 Points for every £1 you spend.
- Each Point is the equivalent of 1p (£0.01)
- Once confirmed you can use your Points on any future orders.
- There’s no limitation on how few or how many you can use!
Shop
As you shop you'll be able to see the number of Points available on each product page.
Earn
Points will accumulate as you add more items to your basket, simply checkout as normal to earn your Points!
Save
After your order has been shipped, the Points will be added to your account for you to spend as you wish…
When can I start saving?
There is no need to do anything extra. All existing customers will receive Points on their new orders, new customers will start collecting them as soon as they register with Escentual.
Recommend a Friend
You can earn a bonus 500 Points for each new friend you recommend who then goes on to place an order with us!
Multi Currency
If you choose to purchase in a currency other than GBP, Points will be earned and redeemed at the GBP equivalent price (this is not affected by the daily exchange rate.)

Point Terms and Conditions
- General Escentual Points Scheme Conditions
- By redeeming any Points on purchases you agree to and are bound by these terms and conditions.
- The Escentual Points Scheme (the “scheme”) and associated benefits are operated by Escentual, 63-67 Wellfield Road, Cardiff CF24 3PA.
- Escentual can withdraw, cancel, or amend the scheme including the Terms and Conditions, or any Customer account, at any time.
- The Escentual Points Scheme is only valid on Escentual.com.
- The Escentual Points Scheme launched on 29th August 2013 and is only valid on orders placed after this date using a member account.
- If we identify that you have more than one account with Escentual, we may merge them in to one account or cancel all accounts and Points at our discretion.
- The Escentual Points Scheme is for personal use only, business use of the scheme is strictly forbidden. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any points or accounts considered to be for business use at our discretion.
- Escentual can take any action it considers to be appropriate if they have reason to believe that the scheme is being abused in any form or fashion.
- Points do not have an actual cash value and will never be exchanged for cash.
- Points are non-transferable, that is they cannot be transferred to any other account.
- Collecting Escentual Points
- The standard number of Points that you will collect is 2 pennies for every £1 you spend on qualifying products.
- You will only earn Points on every full pound that is spent, that is for a £3.99 product you will only earn 6 Points.
- Points are earned on a product by product basis; that is if you buy 3 products at £9.99 you will earn 3 lots of 18 Points totalling 54 Points not on the basket total of £29.97 totalling 58 Points.
- The number of Points earned will be stated on the basket page.
- If you choose to purchase in a currency other than GBP, Points will be earned and redeemed at the GBP equivalent price*: that is they are still earned at the rate of 2 Points per £1 spend and equivalent to 0.01p. *this is not affected by the daily exchange rate.
- Points cannot be earned on Sample Sets (Try Before You Buy Sets) or delivery charges.
- Points are only issued on new sales and will not be applied to past purchases.
- Points will show as pending when your order is confirmed. Once the corresponding order has been dispatched they will be confirmed and available to use, they cannot be used until the corresponding order has been dispatched.
- Points are valid for 1 year from the last time that any pennies were earned or spent on the corresponding account.
- During online Points promotions, existing Points promotions will not be multiplied.
- Escentual reserves the right to withdraw any Points promotions and/or offers at anytime without notice.
- If you refer a friend using our “Recommend a Friend” scheme you will earn an additional 500 Points, providing the correct link is used and that friend is a new customer and goes on to purchase with Escentual using the link given. Please note that Points earned from the “Recommend a Friend” scheme may take up to 30 days to be approved.
- Please note due to a minority of people abusing our review scheme, from the 5th March 2014 we are no longer offering Points in return for product reviews.
- Spending Escentual Points
- 1 Point is worth 1 Penny to spend on products. Points have no actual cash value and we will not exchange Points for cash. The scheme is non-transferable.
- Points cannot be used against gift vouchers, Sample Sets (Try Before You Buy Sets) or delivery charges.
- Points cannot be spent until they are confirmed, that is once the corresponding order has been dispatched.
- Points are not automatically discounted from the basket. The customer can choose how many Points you wish to redeem against the value of an order, once the order has been placed this cannot be amended.
- You do not have to have enough Points to cover the cost of an item; that is you can make a partial payment with Points towards a product; the remaining cost of an item will have to be paid before the product is dispatched.
- Points are valid for 1 year from the last time that any pennies were earned or spent on the corresponding account.
- Escentual reserve the right to substitute or remove products that are available for Points collection and redemption without notice.
- Spending Points may be subject to network availability.
- Points are only available to spend on Escentual.com.
- Points redeemed do not count towards free delivery, this only applies to cash purchases.
- Returning/ Refunding of Goods
- If you return a product for a refund, the number of Points collected during the transaction will be deducted from your Escentual account.
- If you return a product for a refund and have spent the Points earned while purchasing the product and have no remaining Points in your account, you will be refunded for the value of the product minus the value of the Points earned on that product, with each Point being equivalent to 1p.
- If you return a product that has been purchased completely using Points, your account will be credited with the value of the Points used for the purchase. No cash refund will be given in these circumstances.
- If you return a product that has been purchased partially using Points, you will be refunded for the amount paid for using cash and your account will be credited with the value of the Points used for the purchase. No cash refund will be given where Points have been used to purchase a product.
- If a refund is issued on a product the number of Points collected during the transaction will be deducted from your Escentual account.
- If you return part of your order for a refund, where partial payment has been made using Points on the order, the Points will be refunded first, only once all Points that have been redeemed have been refunded, will the outstanding cash refund be made.
