BURBERRY Goddess Parfum Spray Review
I love vanilla perfumes. There’s something so glamorous and feminine about them. I can never have too many, so I was thrilled when I found Burberry Goddess on my desk – a 2023 ambery scent from the fashion-turned-fragrance house. What pleased me more, however, was hearing that Goddess isn’t like traditional vanilla perfumes – it’s more aromatic, something my vanilla collection is missing. Here’s everything I’ve come to learn about Goddess and why I think you’ll love it…
What Does Burberry Goddess Smell Like?
Goddess is a vanilla perfume that smells expensive, glamorous and feminine. It contains a trio of vanilla notes: on top, a woody vanilla; at the heart, a sweet vanilla caviar; and at the base, a vanilla absolute enriched with luminous lavender. The lavender sets Goddess apart from other vanilla perfumes; it softens the composition and stops it from being too sweet or young-smelling. Instead, it feels grown-up, sexy in a chic way and cosy – it’s very moreish.
Burberry Goddess Longevity…
Goddess is an Eau de Parfum, which traditionally lasts 4 to 6 hours. On me, Goddess lasted a little longer than that. I could smell it at the end of the day, especially on my clothes. I found that:
First spray: It fills the room; everyone will ask you what you’re wearing.
4 hours: Anyone you have a conversation with, or walking past will be able to smell the perfume.
5+ hours plus: Only someone sitting next to you will smell it at this stage.
Best Time To Wear Burberry Goddess
Burberry Goddess is a versatile vanilla fragrance. It can be worn day and night. As it’s a rich, bold fragrance that screams ‘powerful woman,’ I think it lends itself to moments when you need a confidence boost, like on a first date or an important work meeting.
Vanilla fragrances tend to come into their own in the autumn/winter because they evoke feelings of cosiness and warmth. Because Goddess has a lavender note, which cools the composition, I think people will enjoy wearing this vanilla fragrance year-round.

The Goddess perfume has a square bottle design with luxurious gold accents. It’s minimalistic and chic. It’s Burberry’s first-ever refillable bottle, too, and can be easily refilled with a 200ml refill bottle.
Who Is The Face of Burberry Goddess?
Emma Mackey is the face of the Burberry Goddess fragrance. The British-French actress is best known for her role in Sex Education and has more recently starred in the Oscar-nominated movie Barbie. Burberry chose Mackey as she “represents the confidence, strength and kindness of the Goddess woman”.
