On the surface, you'd think Parure Gold Double Veil is just a primer. But its benefits far surpass that! It's a makeup primer, sunscreen, and skincare treatment. It's part of the Parure Gold makeup range, which I am a huge fan of, and is best known for its radiance-enhancing formulas.

Our First Impressions

I first noticed how creamy the formula is. It felt nourishing but lightweight, and it blended into my skin easily. It does have a very subtle tint, but it will work across most skin tones as it sheers out. My skin felt and looked hydrated, smoother and more radiant. I paired it with the Parure Gold Foundation (my holy grail), and it applied beautifully. My base appeared almost airbrushed, and even at the end of the day, my makeup looked near perfect.

Guerlain Parure Gold Double Veil is more than a makeup primer; it’s 96% skincare. The skin-caring formula perfects your complexion over time thanks to ingredients like white peony, which boost radiance and even skin tone. Skin instantly looks brighter and blurred, plus in just 14 days, you’ll notice that your bare complexion looks better, too!

  • Instantly blurs the skin.
  • It’ll help your makeup last longer.
  • Mother of pearls boosts your skin’s glow.
  • SPF50+ protects against UVA/UVB rays.
  • 96% skincare formula.

The Formula

Double Veil is a liquid makeup primer with a light, creamy texture. It's a makeup/skincare hybrid and contains 96% skincare ingredients. The formula's key ingredients are white peony, which blurs pores, evens skin tone, and boosts radiance, alongside mother-of-pearl and 24-karat gold.

The Finish

The primer leaves a velvet-like finish. Your skin looks smoother and is noticeably soft to the touch.

How To Use It:

Take a small amount of the primer on your fingertip or brush, then gently apply it to the face, blending outwards to smooth the features. Wait a few moments before applying foundation.
