You Will Love The YSL Make Me Blush Powder Blush If...

If you’re someone who appreciates a bit of luxury in your makeup bag, you'll love the YSL Make Me Blush Powder Blush. This blush is perfect for anyone who loves a flawless, airbrushed finish without the fuss - think silky, skincare-infused powder that melts effortlessly into the skin and blurs pores. Whether you’re a fan of a natural flush or prefer something a bit bolder, you'll swoon over the ultra-buildable formula. Plus, if long-lasting, sweatproof wear is a must-have, you’ll adore how this blush stays put all day.

Is it easy to build the colour?

So easy! You only need a small amount, and the lightest touch. You can do a subtle dusting, or layer it up for more intensity.

What does it feel and look like on the skin?

Silky smooth... I've described it to my friends as making my skin "look like butter". It melts into your skin so seamlessly, so if you want to mix shades, or do a gradient, they blend into each other easily and flawlessly. Your skin will look soft, and your pores looked blurred.

What's the finish on the skin like?

The blush comes in two finishes: satin and matte. The satin finish gives a soft, radiant glow, perfect for a healthy look without being too shiny. The matte finish offers a smooth, velvety look that’s ideal for those who prefer a more natural, shine-free effect.

What are the ingredients?

At the heart of the formula is squalane, known for its hydrating and smoothing properties, which helps the blush glide effortlessly and prevents it from looking dry or cakey. Then there’s rosehip, sourced from YSL Beauty’s Ourika community gardens, which is rich in antioxidants to promote a healthy-looking glow. Together, these ingredients work to blur the look of pores and imperfections, leaving your cheeks looking soft and smooth.

The Shades

How many shades are there to choose from?

There are 11 shades to choose from, 9 of which we'll be stocking on Escentual:

  • 6 - Rose Haze: rosy pink.
  • 12 - Noctural Nude: beige pink.
  • 37 - Peachy Nude: peachy pink:
  • 42 - Babydoll Pink: light pink.
  • 44 - Nude Lavalliere: nude purple.
  • 54 - Berry Bang: raspberry pink.
  • 83 - Spicy Berry: deep berry.
  • 87 - Pink Voltage: hot pink.
  • 93 - Restless Rose: nude pink.

How long does it last?

All day. Really. YSL wasn't joking when they said this formula is sweatproof and waterproof. I applied it in the morning and my blush still looked great come 7pm when I was taking it off.

How do I use it?

Apply to the apples of the cheeks, and blend along the cheekbone. I'd recommend applying with a blush brush, but you could also apply with your fingers if you prefer.
