Lancome Idole marks a new generation of fragrance. It has modernised the classic rose note and revolutionised the perfume bottle; all the while delivering a message of strong and powerful feminity. Made for those who dream big, Idole has future icon written all over it.
Designed by Architect, Chafik Gasmi, Idole has the world's slimmest perfume bottle in history at just 15mm thick. Described as the bottle of today, the ultra-thin flacon has been made with two objectives in mind: to look beautiful with its gold trim and jewel-like design, and to be practical; its slender shape fits neatly into the hand and is a dream to travel with.
The Eau de Parfum Spray celebrates a note close to Lancome's heart, the rose; the hero of its logo, and the main facet in many of its best-selling fragrances. The result is an Eau with tradition at its core but an entirely contemporary energy. Sustainably-sourced rose and rose water is at the centre of this transformation, and lends a dewy, yet radiant freshness that doesn't smell artificial in the slightest. The composition's modern twist comes from a fruity bergamot opening, and subtle threads of sensual jasmine with creamy musk; a blend that is clean and glowing.
