Urban Decay Wild Greens Eyeshadow Palette Review

Review of Urban Decay Wild Greens Palette

Calling all Urban Decay eyeshadow lovers! The Urban Decay Wild Greens Eyeshadow Palette has arrived to fulfil your dreams of a neutral palette with rich pops of colour, this time focusing on my personal favourite hue: green. The earthy-toned palette is an ode to nature and sustainability. It’s green inside and out – the eyeshadows even contain avocado oil for a flawless blend and a clean, vegan base.

The incredible colour-shifting shimmers are ultra-creamy, and the versatile mattes perfectly complement every shade. I am a massive fan of this palette for a subtle twist on the classic brown-toned eye look; the green and neutral orange brings out the hazel hues hidden in my brown eyes. Read on to find out more…

The vegan palette has 6 matte shades and 6 shimmers, making it perfect for any beauty lover to wear both day and night. What Does It Look Like On?

The palette has an overall cool undertone, with hints of warmer orange tones. The mattes are easy to blend for a blown-out look, or the intense pigmentation can be concentrated for a bold graphic design using a denser brush.

The shimmers range from intensely pigmented colour to more metallic duo-chrome shimmer shades – Fuzz and Twist, in particular, have shifting green, gold and silver flecks with a less pigmented base colour. You can build the shimmers or create a beautiful wash of sparkle. The green shades have natural, neutral undertones, making them easy to integrate into a more typical everyday look or use them alone for green glamour!

Hero Ingredients:

The eyeshadow is velvety soft and easy to blend, thanks to its avocado oil-based formula – even the shimmer shades smooth effortlessly onto your lids.

What Does It Feel Like?

The matte shades are soft and creamy to glide seamlessly over your lids. The shimmer shades Chill, Prickly, Hi-Vibe and Stash are buttery smooth; the shimmer is undetectable to the touch, and they feel lightweight on the lids. Fuzz and Twist have larger individual shimmer flecks but are still soft and easy to wear for a stunning wash of sparkle.

The shadows have no added fragrance.

What’s Special About The Design?

Urban Decay’s metallic green palette has a cool graphic design featuring flowers, snakes and eyes for a retro-tattoo feel. The palette is different to the traditional metal-plastic Urban Decay design. Wild Greens has a slim mirrorless design to reduce waste – it makes it even better for travelling as it feels secure to protect your precious shadows.

How Do You Use It?

Use a fluffy blending brush to blend the matte shadows and a dense packing brush for more concentrated pigment. The shimmers apply the best when using your fingertips and a primer for maximum pigment payoff. To keep your eyeshadow in place all day, finish with a setting spray.

Values?

The Urban Decay Wild Greens Eyeshadow Palette has a clean vegan formula that’s free from silicone, parabens and mineral oils.
