September's list is a mix of everything that our customers and team get excited about: a genuine personal favourite, a run of star-studded campaigns doing exactly what they're meant to, cherry and pink both still refusing to quit, and a first for Givenchy that's worth flagging on its own.
There's also my pick for the fragrance of the season, and I don't say that lightly.
Either way, here's a closer look at what new beauty made the bestselling list for September, plus the insider reasons why.

1. GUERLAIN L'Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum
Why It's Popular
This is my most complimented perfume of the month, and I don't hand that title out often.
A New Chapter, Not a Reboot: Rather than reformulating Guerlain's 1912 classic, perfumer Delphine Jelk built an entirely new fragrance around the same "blue hour" concept, which is why the original now carries the name L'Heure Bleue 1912, with both available side by side.
Bespoke Iris Tincture: The heart is built around an iris tincture developed specifically for this fragrance, paired with iris butter, giving it a powdery depth that's genuinely hard to replicate outside a house with its own perfumers.
Cocooning, Not Old-Fashioned: A crisp, ozonic opening gives way to a warm vanilla base, so despite the powdery iris heart, it wears as modern and inviting rather than dated.
2. Valentino Vendetta Donna & Uomo
Valentino's revival of the Vendetta name, dormant since 1991, has landed with real force and the campaign is doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
Why It's Popular
Genuinely Star-Studded Launch: This is a proper occasion for Valentino, built around a striking campaign that's put the duo in front of far more people than a typical fragrance launch, which is reflected directly in how quickly it's moved this month
A Real Pair, Not Just a His-and-Hers: Vendetta Donna's tuberose and blood orange nectar and Vendetta Uomo's ginger and cinnamon liquor are designed to share a visual identity without smelling remotely alike, so each stands on its own.
Couture Codes On The Bottle: The pleated cap and sculpted V motif are direct references to Valentino's fashion house, giving the bottles a level of design detail rarely seen at this price point.
3. Giorgio Armani I Will Eau de Parfum
Armani's first genuinely new men's fragrance name in years — not another Acqua di Gio or Code flanker — and the campaign push behind it is a big part of why it's flying.
Why It's Popular
A New Name, Finally: After decades of flankers built on Acqua di Gio, Code and Stronger With You, I Will is a rare from-scratch launch, and that novelty alone has pulled in fragrance fans who'd normally skip past another line extension.
Four Years In The Making: Master perfumers Alberto Morillas and Nathalie Lorson reportedly ran over 2,800 trials to land the contrast between bright bergamot and a smoky vanilla-leather base, which shows in how deliberately balanced it feels.
Genuine Longevity Claims: Armani states a 24-hour wear time backed by consumer testing, addressing the one complaint that follows most vanilla-forward fragrances.
4. Lancome La Vie Est Belle L'Elixir Very Cherry Eau de Parfum
Cherry shows no sign of loosening its grip on fragrance this year, and Lancome's first-ever woody cherry take on La Vie Est Belle is proof.
Why It's Popular
Cherry, But Make It Woody: Rather than following the sweeter cherry-liqueur route other launches have taken this year, this pairs black cherry with oud and cocoa butter for something richer and less straightforwardly sugary.
Trend Timing: It's landed at exactly the point where cherry notes have gone from a passing moment to a genuine fixture across fragrance, which has kept demand high since launch.
Collector's Bottle: Suzanne Dalton's iconic smile silhouette gets a dark cherry gradient and shimmering wing detail, giving existing La Vie Est Belle collectors a clear reason to add it to the shelf.
5. Prada Paradigme Le Parfum
Tom Holland remains the face of Paradigme, and with Spider-Man: Brand New Day filming and generating headlines, the timing couldn't be better for Prada.
Why It's Popular
Reverse Pyramid Structure: True to the original Paradigme's unconventional build, Le Parfum opens with a warm, resinous base of Peru balsam and benzoin before rising into brighter geranium and bergamot, a warm, almost coffee-like richness that sets it apart from a typical top-down fragrance.
Amberever Technology: A next-generation amber molecule is designed specifically to extend diffusion and longevity, with Prada claiming up to 12 hours of wear.
Continued Star Power: Holland's ongoing ambassadorship keeps the fragrance in front of an audience most launches never reach, and that visibility is translating directly into sales.
6. Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Pink Glaze Eau de Parfum
Black Opium is already an icon, and the pink, strawberry-forward spin on it has tapped into exactly the same trend energy that's driven cherry all year.
Why It's Popular
A Proper Trend Flanker: Trading the original's black coffee darkness for 100% naturally extracted strawberry puts Pink Glaze squarely in the same pink fragrance moment that's been building across the category.
Recognisable DNA, New Mood: Jasmine and orange flower keep it tethered to the original Black Opium signature, while the strawberry and coffee combination gives it a lighter, more playful edge.
Bottle Update: The dark pink lacquered glass against the black Cassandre logo core gives it clear shelf presence next to the rest of the Black Opium range.
7. Ralph Lauren Ralph's Club New York Parfum
Usher's ambassadorship for the Ralph's Club line continues to pull weight, and this Parfum concentration gives the franchise its richest version yet.
Why It's Popular
Cognac and Aged Oud: Where the original Eau de Parfum leans on blackcurrant and vanilla, this Parfum concentration deepens into smooth cognac and an aged oud wood accord, giving it a more intense, evening-ready character.
Star Power That Actually Fits: An eight-time Grammy winner fronting a New York nightlife-inspired fragrance is a natural pairing, and it's clearly resonating with customers who've followed the campaign.
Art Deco Bottle: The silver rhombus flacon draws directly on Manhattan's architecture, tying the design back to the fragrance's after-dark New York concept.
8. GIVENCHY Le Rouge Satin Silk Lipstick
This is a genuine first for the brand: the debut of Givenchy's fashion house codes on a lipstick, and customers have noticed.
Why It's Popular
Skincare-First Formula: Hyaluronic Acid Spheres and a Tri-Peptides Complex mean it's doing more than sitting on top of lips, addressing the usual trade-off between bold colour and lip comfort.
12-Hour Colour Grip: The technology behind the finish keeps colour feathering at bay for a genuinely long wear time, backed by 19 shades across nude, pink and red families.
Couture Codes On Packaging: The bullet's architectural, tailored silhouette is a direct translation of Givenchy's runway design language into makeup packaging.
9. Dolce & Gabbana Your Devotion Eau de Parfum Intense
This one's a genuine one-to-watch — it smells incredible, and it's landed at exactly the right moment for the season.
Why It's Popular
Familiar Codes, Playful Twist: Perfumer Olivier Cresp keeps the original Devotion's orange blossom and vanilla DNA intact while adding a juicy Sicilian melon opening, giving it a fresher, more playful edge than a typical "intense" flanker.
Creamy Vanilla Milk Base: The base note trades heavier gourmand richness for a lighter, milkier vanilla that still lingers, striking a genuinely comforting but wearable balance.
Vanity Gold Bottle: The latte-coloured lacquered glass and Sacred Heart seal make it as much a display piece as a fragrance, continuing the visual language of the wider Devotion collection.
10. Acqua di Parma Cedro Virtuoso Eau de Parfum
This is my autumn fragrance pick of the season. The creamy, nutty warmth is exactly right for the months ahead.
Why It's Popular
An Unlikely Pairing That Works: A co-infusion of Virginia cedarwood and hazelnut, developed exclusively for this fragrance, gives the classic dry cedar profile a genuinely creamy, roasted warmth that's rare in woody fragrances.
Three Cedar Facets: Virginia, Atlas and Alaska cedar each bring something different: smooth warmth, balsamic spice and leathery edge, giving the composition far more depth than a single-note cedar scent.
Cosy Without Being Heavy: Tonka bean, sandalwood and Ambrox in the base keep it grounded and comforting, making it a genuine contender for a signature autumn scent rather than an occasional treat.
