Part of Origins’ Ginger collection, this hand lotion is formulated with a blend of two oils to soften and smooth dry skin, aloe vera to relieve soreness and Vitamin E for protection against the harmful effects of the environment. Hand lotions are typically thinner in consistency than creams, which I noticed when I compared Origins’ Ginger Hand Cream from the Peace of Mind collection (review here) to this lotion. However, the consistency of the lotion doesn’t effect its ability to nourish dry skin. Ginger Hand Lotion is a lightweight, deeply moisturising hand lotion that doesn’t leave hands feeling slippery or tacky. Plus, it smells delicious!

This can be used on all skin types, but Origins created this with a particular focus on those who suffer with dry hands. Plus, the naturally-derived ingredients in this makes it the ideal option for all of the people who – like me – have super sensitive skin.

You’re looking for a hand lotion that you can leave in the bathroom for guests to use, it’s packaged in a non-offensive, simple bottle so I’m sure it will go with most colour schemes. Alternatively, if you’re struggling to find a hand lotion that doesn’t make your hands slippery and unusable after application, this sinks in instantly and leaves no greasy residue. Also, if you’re an Origins fan and are looking for another range to get obsessed with – the Ginger Collection is super nourishing and smells like sugar-coated crystalised ginger.

Safflower and sunflower seed oils soften and smooth hands, targeting roughness whilst aloe vera soothes soreness and Vitamin E keeps skin protected against environmental elements.
What Does It Feel Like?
This is a really moisturising hand lotion without all the faff. It feels lightweight on application and absorbs into the skin really quickly, making dehydrated cuticles look and feel uber nourished. Plus, it doesn’t leave hands with that annoying greasy feeling, so you can carry on with whatever you were doing before you applied it.
What Does It Smell Like?
Sweet and addictive; this hand lotion smells just like crystalised ginger in a vintage sweet shop. The spicy notes of ginger soften and warm the scent which is otherwise packed full of sparkling, zesty lemon, lime and bergamot. It’s a sweet, warm aroma that smells good enough to eat!
How Do You Use The Product?
Pump a small amount of the hand cream onto clean, dry hands and massage in, paying close attention to drier areas, nails and cuticles.
