Alien has been a divisive fragrance since it launched in 2005. You either love it or hate it. But those who love it, worship it, us included. For 2025, Mugler has revealed the Alien ExtraIntense, and we have no doubt this new edition will be equally as controversial. So without further ado, and in true Alien fashion, let's take off...

What Does Alien ExtraIntense Smell Like?
It's warm, cosy and clean. The standout notes when I sprayed it were feminine florals and creamy vanilla.
What's the difference between the original Alien and Alien ExtraIntense?
Alien is radiant and powerful and ExtraIntense promises more, but not in the way you’d expect. The 2025 release may be called ‘ExtraIntense’ but in many ways, it’s softer. The main difference is the addition of vanilla, which makes the composition creamier and cosier. But don’t let its softness fool you, this perfume packs a punch (it’s Alien after all); it’ll be the talking point in any room and lasts all day.

What's the Longevity Like?
Alien is a long-lasting perfume, but ExtraIntense takes that even further. I could still smell it after 8+ hours.
What's Special About The Design?
The Alien bottle is the celebrity of fragrance bottles - it has a huge fan club and is always recognised. For ExtraIntense, the gem bottle remains, but Mugler has given it a gradient black-to-purple design so that it's easily recognisable in the Alien line-up. The bottle, like other Mugler perfumes, is refillable in every size.
