Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild Eau de Parfum Review
Share
Marc Jacobs’ Daisy first came out in 2007, and since then, it’s become an iconic scent. It’s playful, fresh, and has this youthful energy that just sticks with you. Over the years, we’ve seen many different versions each adding something new to the collection. Now, there’s Daisy Wild. You might hear the name and think it’s going to be bold or untamed, but it’s actually more about highlighting the beauty of nature in a really soft, delicate way. It’s like stepping into a peaceful field of wildflowers—natural and beautiful, but still totally in line with that effortless Daisy charm we know and love. Here’s my review…
Important bits:

What Does It Smell Like?
Daisy Wild starts off with an interesting note of banana blossom accord. It’s light and fruity. Then, as it develops, you start to get hints of jasmine and macadamia accord. The jasmine adds a touch of sweetness, and the macadamia brings in this nutty, creamy element. When it settles, you’re left with a warm base of sandalwood and vetiver des sables. The sandalwood gives it a smooth, creamy feel, while the vetiver adds a subtle, earthy touch. It all comes together to create a fragrance that’s fresh and grounded.
Top Notes: Banana Blossom Accord.
Heart Notes: Jasmine, Macadamia Accord.
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vetiver des Sables.
How Does It Compare To The Original Daisy?
In my opinion Daisy Wild is very different to the original Daisy. The first Daisy, from 2007, is all about that fresh, playful florals with wild strawberry, violet leaves, and jasmine—it’s youthful and light. But Daisy Wild takes things in a new direction. It kicks off with a unique banana blossom accord that’s fruity and a bit unexpected. Then you get florals in the heart, which gives it a richer, more sophisticated floral and nutty twist. The base is warmer, which you don’t really get in the original. So, while the original Daisy is more about youthful freshness, Daisy Wild feels a bit more mature and grounded, but still has that playful charm.
How Long Does Daisy Wild Last?
Daisy Wild lasted around 4 to 6 hours on me, which is pretty standard for many Eau de Parfum concentrations. Towards the afternoon I couldn’t smell it as much so reached for a top-up.
When’s The Best Time To Wear Daisy Wild?
Daisy Wild is perfect for spring and summer. Its fresh, fruity opening and light floral heart make it ideal for warmer weather when you want something vibrant and uplifting. It’s great for casual daytime events, like brunches, picnics, or outdoor gatherings. You can also wear it to work or school because it’s not overpowering. Overall, it’s a versatile fragrance.
