Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Le Parfum Eau de Parfum Review
Share
If you’re a fan of Scandal by Jean Paul Gaultier, then you will want to try the 2022 addition to the JPG Scandal collection: Scandal Le Parfum. It’s a richer, warmer and more intense take on the original – and yes, it’s super sexy.

This Fragrance Smells Like…
Created by Fabrice Pellegrin, Daphné Bugey and Ane Ayo, Scandal Intense is rich, creamy and dizzyingly heady from the get-go as you’re hit with a dazzling punch of jasmine. The hypnotic white floral tone is even more addictive, thanks to a stunning salted caramel note drizzled throughout the heart. Then, the deeply sensual base of black vanilla bean with woody and leathery tones warms its way to the surface.
What’s The Story Behind This Scent?
As the name suggests, Scandal Le Parfum is all about shattering expectations, waving goodbye to good behaviour and revelling in all things scandalous. If the original Scandal caused a few minor tremors, the Le Parfum version of Scandal is truly groundbreaking.
You Will Love This If…
If you love the Scandal fragrance collection by JPG, but you’re after a richer, warmer amber take on the current line-up, you’ll love Scandal Le Parfum. It has the same white floral and sweet, honeyed tone, but it’s much bolder.
This Perfume Smells Similar To:
If you can imagine white floral petals drenched in caramel sauce, you’ve got Scandal Le Parfum.
Is Scandal Le Parfum Unisex?
Fragrance has no gender to us – as long as you enjoy what you’re wearing, that’s all that matters. Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Le Parfum has a typically feminine presence as it goes in heavy on white florals. If you are looking for a more masculine signature, check out Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum instead.
What’s The Longevity Like?
This is one of the most intense and long-lasting fragrances in the Jean Paul Gaultier collection Scandal. It lasted a good six hours on my skin, but its projection is even more impressive.
What’s Special About The Bottle?
Those just-a-little-bit-scandalous pair of legs are back, and it wouldn’t be a Scandal fragrance without them. This time, the bottle has been given a sultry red lacquer finish to match the hot, intense and seductive scent within.
