HUGO BOSS BOSS The Scent For Her Absolute Eau de Parfum Review

HUGO BOSS BOSS The Scent For Her Absolute Eau de Parfum Spray

If you’re a fan of BOSS The Scent For Her by HUGO BOSS, then celebrations are in order. The collection is now home to a bolder, richer, and undeniably suave and sensual version, BOSS The Scent For Her Absolute. Read on to discover the scent for yourself…

This Fragrance Smells Like…

Perfumer, Louise Turner’s BOSS The Scent Absolute for women is a darker, more intense interpretation of the original BOSS The Scent feminine fragrance.

The exquisite honeyed peach signature found in the perfume’s predecessors takes centre stage as the top note. Sweet, juicy and fresh, this succulent honeyed peach note adds an instant sticky sweetness to the scent before a surprising and exciting note cuts through in the heart: iced coffee. The coffee accord is a dark, addictive and gorgeous gourmand, and it helps the fragrance stand apart from the original for all the right reasons.

Finally, a seductive base of vanilla adds a delicious warmth to the base, elegantly wrapped up in vetiver for a contrasting yet utterly sensual final flourish. All-in-all, the result is an addictive fruity-warm perfume with added longevity.

What’s The Story Behind This Scent?

Both BOSS Absolute scents take inspiration by the concept of pushing the senses to the next level: by stimulating the senses, a heightened sensory experience happens, triggering a static-like, tingling sensation on the skin.

You Will Love This If…

If your signature scent is the BOSS The Scent For Her Eau de Toilette or the original BOSS The Scent For Her Eau de Parfum, but you’re looking for a darker, braver scent for the evening. Or perhaps you want something a little edgier and more confident for the day, you’ll love The Scent Absolute.

This Perfume Smells Similar To:

Naturally, the fragrance shares similarities with The Scent For Her Eau de Parfum; fans will instantly recognise the honeyed peach top note. However, Absolute has a deeper, warmer feel to it.

Is BOSS The Scent For Her Absolute Unisex?

I would say this fragrance could appeal to all genders, thanks to its universally appealing and undeniably delicious gourmand facets. However, Hugo Boss market it as a fragrance for women, so if you do tend to opt for fragrances for men, then I’d recommend taking a look at the intense counterpart for men, BOSS The Scent Absolute.

What’s The Longevity Like?

This Eau de Parfum personally lasted over six hours on me; I could still make out its subtle, cosy-warm base after hours.

What’s Special About The Bottle?

The flacon is a darker, moodier revamp of the original; the bottle matches the intensity of the fragrance within. The fragrance comes in a precious faceted glass flacon, tinted with dark purple lacquer and crowned with a sleek, sculptural metal cap to tie into the entire The Scent collection.
