The Histoires de Parfums Characters collection brings places and people from the past back to life. From Jules Verne to Casanova, Histoires de Parfums’ niche fragrance line is a journey through time…
The Fragrances Smell Like…
• Histoires de Parfums 1725 Eau de Parfum: Inspired by Casanova, 1725 is suave, sexy and dangerously addictive. Bursting with fresh fruits, aromatic facets and sweet, warm orientals, this fougere-amber fragrance is Casanova’s essence bottled.
• Histoires de Parfums 1740 Eau de Parfum: Warm and spiced, 1740 is a deep woody-spicy scent for men, which has been created with the scandalous liberties of the Century of Lights in mind. It’s like a smooth glass of whiskey by a roaring fire.
• Histoires de Parfums 1828 Eau de Parfum: Inspired by beloved sci-fi author, Jules Verne, 1828 is a treasure chest filled with spices from faraway lands, which have been carried through dew-drenched forests. It’s green, aromatic and a little bit zesty.
• Histoires de Parfums 1876 Eau de Parfum: Inspired by Mata Hari, femme fatale courtesan and spy, 1876 is the epitome of a fiery rose. It’s hot, spicy and scandalous.
• Histoires de Parfums 1899 Eau de Parfum: Inspired by the City of Light, 1899 transports you to the heart of Paris just before the turn of the century. It’s night-time: artists and writers pour out onto the street, illuminations dance on the cobblestones and shadows loom in the distance. The oriental-woody fragrance blends bright fruits with a dash of black pepper, rich florals and warm, sensual orientals to take you to this exact scene.
• Histoires de Parfums 7753 Eau de Parfum: 7753 is a fresh floral fragrance that’s sure to grab your attention. Inspired by the Mona Lisa and named after the dimensions of the painting, the perfume is an enigmatic and voluptuous blend of fresh fruits, white florals and soft woods.

What’s The Longevity Like?
Each Histoires de Parfums fragrance within the Characters collection is incredibly long-lasting – and none of them disappointed me. They were so bold, intense and long-lasting, that they left a perfumed trail in my room long into the night.
What’s Special About The Bottles?
All of the Histoires de Parfums Characters perfumes have a similar sleek and streamlined design. Made of transparent glass, they all allow you to see the tinted liquid within, ranging from the palest of yellows to the deepest of ambers. Both the front of the bottles and the smooth, charcoal-black lids have Histoires’ name printed in white, reminding you of the history behind this premium niche fragrance house.
And of course, I couldn’t write about the Characters lineup without giving a special shout-out to the stunning boxes. Each unique in its own right, the boxes exude many colours to tie into each perfume, while the whole unboxing experience feels fun and luxurious. And yes, you can smell the scent even during the unboxing!
