Givenchy Prisme Quatuor Eyeshadow Palette

We’re just shy of a month into a brand new year, and there has already been so much newness. Talk about starting 2015 with a bang! One of the biggest launches of the year so far is in fact relaunch; and a dual one at that. Givenchy has reinvented two of its most iconic makeup products, the Prisme Quatuor Eyeshadow Palette and the Phenomen’Eyes Mascara, with sleek new packaging and improved usability.
The biggest changes are seen in the Prisme Quatuor Eyeshadow Palette, and fans will be itching to know what’s changed. We’ve got the low down on the new colour harmonies and the new-look palette.
So, what’s different? Well for starters, it’s a lot sleeker. There’s just one tier now (the applicators were in a pull-out drawer in the previous incarnation), which makes it a lot more portable, and there are eight brand new colour harmonies ranging from sophisticated nudes to disco glimmers.
Aside from the ultra creamy, long-wearing eye colour that Givenchy are famous for, it’s the little touches that set this palette apart from the rest. The stud fastening. The inclusion of a pointed applicator for more precise placement of colour. The raised Givenchy insignia. It’s a luxurious product that’s both practical and completely beautiful – and what could be better than that?
On to the new colour harmonies…
1 – Caresse
1 Caresse is a romantic, petal-perfect harmony of shades in a range of pinks and browns. In the top left is a metallic iridescent brown; in the top left is a satin medium brown; in the bottom left is a fresh and romantic rosy pink; and in the bottom right is a delicate pearlescent pink top coat.
2 – Ecume
2 Ecume is a breathtaking harmony inspired by the night sky. In the top left is a metallic denim blue; in the top right is a deep midnight blue with blue and silver sparkles; in the bottom left is metallic purple; and in the bottom right is a metallic champagne shade.
3 – Inattendue
3 Inattendue is the super sparkly entry, reminiscent of lights against a night sky. 5 – Frisson
5 Frisson is really very elegant, and perhaps my favourite of all of the colour harmonies. In the top left is a deep navy shot through with fine blue shimmer; in the top right is a pewter-grey with silver shimmer; in the bottom left is a beautiful rose gold with silver shimmer; and the bottom right is a sweet baby pink pearl.

7 – Tentation
7 Tentation is a romantic plum-based harmony that glows with unexpected metallic facets. In the top left is a fresh khaki green shot through with ultra fine golden shimmer; the top right is a deep metallic plum; the bottom left is a chic satin mauve; and the bottom right is a frosted champagne top coat, which gives all of the other shades intense luminosity,
