Dior Diorshow Pump 'N' Volume Mascara Review
Share
In 2017, Dior launched its first squeezable mascara, Dior Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume. Designed to give lashes a boost like no other, it soon became a favourite for those searching for mega volume. For 2022, Dior has given the now cult-favourite formula a reboot, and it’s better than ever.
The Wand & Tube
The wand and tube of the Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume mascara are what set it apart. The intelligent mascara has a flexible pump tube that loads the wand with more product, intensifying the volume effect when squeezed. Never clumpy, the formula remains intact down to the last drop, allowing you to build up volume to your heart’s content.
The brush doesn’t disappoint either. With flexible spikes and a rigid, stable wand, applying the mascara is gentle and effective. Designed to give a bounce effect, the bristles are the ideal shape to reach every last lash, while its rubber material is perfect for zig-zagging a boost at the lash-line.
The Formula
You’ve probably guessed already, but Dior didn’t stop at a great wand and next-generation packaging. They added a genius formula too! The creamy, now 90% natural formula has volume at the top of its agenda – the new 2022 formula boosts lashes by 200%! A combination of waxes and elastic powders, or ” Bouncy PowdersTM“, create clump-free oversize lashes. The formula has a unique, soft sensation that adheres to lashes without weighing them down, for lashes that stay volumised and full all day.
The Results
I knew I would love the Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume mascara. With a promise of high-impact, customisable volume, it was a mascara I needed to put to the test!
My lashes are usually straight and uninspiring without mascara, but the Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume changed that. The flexible wand allowed me to wiggle right to the lash line and build volume at the roots. Unlike many other mascaras that promise volume, Diorshow Pump ‘n’ Volume didn’t make my lashes look clumpy or spidery. Instead, they were volumised and lengthened whilst still having a feminine flutter.
