If you thought Clarins double serum wasn’t for you, think again. For the past 2 years, Clarins experts have been trialling and testing how to make the UK’s number one anti-ageing more popular.
Welcome Double Serum Light. For 2023, Double Serum is more accessible than ever. Now combination skin types can take advantage of the firming benefits of this iconic formula without the oiliness or heaviness. It’s genius and long-awaited for many.
Firstly, why should you bother with Double Serum?
People all over the world trust its firming benefits, with one selling every 5 seconds globally. The reviews don’t lie. Our customers can’t be without it.
What’s the difference between Double Serum and Clarins Double Serum Light?
My Experience:
The textures of both serums are the main difference. When I compared the single dose of each serum, I could clearly feel that Double Serum Light was more watery and absorbed faster.
To experiment further, I tried the original serum on one side and the new serum on the other, and I was amazed that even though Light absorbed quicker when I prodded my face afterwards to check its bounce, each side had the same cushiony feeling. It was hard to tell which one was which. This is impressive. Clarins have clearly done their research to try and keep each of the benefits as similar as possible, but offering up a more suitable texture so more people who find that texture too much for their skin.
Clarins Double Serum Ingredients:
To further explore, I’ve compared the ingredients list to check if there are any key differences. From my research, I can see:
Undecane is the second ingredient in the light formulation, which is known for making things lightweight, spreadable and perfectly soft and tacky for a good makeup base. Avocado oil is higher in the light formulation, with the normal double serum having cocoa higher up its list.
