Christmas Shopping For The Family – Emma’s Picks
Share
I always leave my Christmas shopping until the last minute, and I’m sure I get a little bit more disorganised every year. Good thing I have a brilliant product catalogue at my fingertips – I can get all of my shopping completed in one fell swoop without too much drama!
Here are my picks for my family. I just hope I haven’t blown my cover – my 25 year old brother still believes in Father Christmas…
Mum:
My mum is a tricky lady to buy for come Christmas time. She has a signature scent that she doesn’t stray from, and her reactive skin means she uses her own special bath products. What my mum is open to, however, is a bit of home fragrancing; every room in the house has some sort of oil burner or pot pourri embellishment. This year, I’ll be feeding this penchant with the Crabtree & Evelyn Floral Collection Reed Diffusers Set. There’s not just one beautiful fragrance-filled glass bottle in the set, there’s three, so she can have one for the bedroom, the hall and the living room. She’ll be in heaven!
Dad:
I take it back – Mum is an absolute dream to buy for in comparison to my dad! My dad really doesn’t want anything for Christmas, so I tend to buy him things he would use anyway, but give them a more luxurious twist. So instead of his usual supermarket deodorant and shower gel, I’ll buy him high end alternatives. This year I’m going for a matching set: the Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme Deodorant Spray and Shower Gel.
Brother:
My brother Nathan is a really active guy with lots of hobbies, so I have a whole roster of things that I can buy for him come gifting time. I’ve already put away a couple of things, including a DVD he’s asked for, but I think I’ll also treat him to the Jack Black Dragon Ice Relief & Recovery Balm, which helps to wind the body down after exercise.
Sister-in-law:
My brother married his lovely fiancée this year, so I can finally say I have a sister to buy for at Christmas! Growing up it was just me and my brother, so it’s such a treat getting to share my girly tendencies with Shakira. Fragrances that she’s had in the past include Cacharel Amor Amor and Dolce & Gabbana The One, so I think the new Gucci Premiere Eau de Parfum will be just perfect.
