Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Micropeel Foam Review
Share
81% of people who tested the Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Micropeel Foam experienced noticeably brighter skin in just 30 seconds. When I learnt this, I immediately put myself forward to review it. Glow is my skincare goal; if a product promises to achieve that in less than a minute, I want it. Luckily, the team obliged, and I got to put the Brightening Micropeel Foam through its paces. Here’s my review…
You Will Love The Vinoperfect Brightening Micropeel Foam If…
You’ll love this product if you want to improve the overall health of your complexion. It’s like hitting reset on your skin. Its exfoliating action improves the skin’s glow and texture and eliminates blemishes.
What Does It Do?
It’s a daily exfoliating peel that removes dull, dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, leaving your face brighter, smoother and more even.
How Does It Do It?
With 100% natural fruit acids (grapefruit and papaya) and mandelic acid (a keratolytic exfoliant), which is less irritating than conventional AHAs. (alpha hydroxy acids). Using this large-in-size molecule and moisturising and soothing organic grape water (a prebiotic) in the formula means it’s suitable for all skin types, even sensitive ones.
What’s The Difference Between The Vinoperfect Instant Foaming Cleanser And Brightening Micropeel Foam?
The Instant Foaming Cleanser is a face wash, so this should be your choice for your cleansing step – it’ll purify your skin. The Brightening Micropeel Foam is a chemical exfoliator that removes dead skin cells and brightens your skin. Neither remove makeup; the Vinoclean Cleansing Oil is the best choice for this step.
What Does It Smell And Feel Like?
It has a fresh, clean smell that isn’t overpowering. The foam is light and airy and feels refreshing on the skin. During testing, I did not experience any tingling or stinging, and I have eczema-prone skin that can be quite reactive.
How Do I Use It And Can I Use It Everyday?
Yes, it can be used every day. It will replace the current exfoliator(s) in your routine. Don’t use it alongside another exfoliator as this may lead to irritation.
Micropeel’s Design and Aesthetic Is Special Because…
The Micropeel Foam is unlike other chemical exfoliators because it’s a foam. Because of this, it comes in a bottle with a pump dispenser. I prefer this to liquid chemical exfoliators, which must often be applied with a cotton pad. I found the foam far more pleasant and less wasteful (less product waste and no cotton pad usage). It was also a much more luxurious experience!
What Skincare Is It Similar To?
As far as liquid chemical exfoliators go, the Micropeel Foam is unique! That said, the team has likened its skin brightening and smoothing abilities to the iconic Pixi Glow Tonic.
Sustainability and Values…
The Micropeel Foam is vegan and opthalmolist-tested.
The packaging is fully recyclable and designed using recycled plastic (95%), which is more respectful of the planet.
My Overall Experience
I’ve used the Micropeel Foam daily for a week and am a big fan. It’s quick, easy to use, and easily slotted into my skincare routine. The results are instantaneous. Pop it on, wait 30 seconds and voila. My skin looks healthier after I’ve used it. I’ve especially noticed on days I’ve been in more polluted areas like the city centre, had a bad night’s sleep or been hungover. It’s like a reset button for the face.
I have eczema-prone skin, so I was concerned that the formula could irritate me. But Caudalie’s claims that it’s suitable for sensitive skin reign true. I didn’t suffer from any irritation. The overall experience was enjoyable – the foam texture was luxurious and pampering. However, what takes the cake for me is how fast it works. In the evenings, the last thing I want to do after a long day is spend hours on my skincare. With this, I’m getting the best of both worlds: efficacy and efficiency!
