Binky's French Pharmacy Favourites
Share
Hello everyone,
Spring has finally sprung– apparently we will be enjoying temperatures higher than in Greece this weekend! I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see some sun here in the UK so I don’t have to leave the house looking like the Michelin Man every morning.
The return of spring means the return of one of my favourite Escentual promotions: French Pharmacy Month. French Pharmacy brands are famed for their incredibly effective yet reasonably affordable skincare ranges, which I’ve raved about in the past. However, not many people know French Pharmacy brands do brilliant haircare, bodycare and make-up, too – so I thought I’d share with you some of my favourites.
Klorane Mango Butter Range
I swear by this range when my hair is feeling dry or damaged. The rich formulation is made up of Indian mango and restores moisture and softness to parched out hair. The shampoo and conditioner together leave my hair feeling nourished and silky smooth – and the smell is divine!
Klorane Oatmilk Gentle Dry Shampoo
This cult favourite is made up of natural oatmilk, corn and rice extracts, which work wonderfully to absorb oil and eliminate dirt in the hair. It freshens tresses in a matter of minutes, and doesn’t leave any messy white residue or have a strong odour. I also love using this to create some volume at the crown of my head.
Caudalie Figue de Vigne Eau French Fragrance Spray
If you’re searching for a spring fragrance, look no further than this new offering from Caudalie. The scent combines notes of bergamot and orange alongside rich fig and Bulgarian rose essence – resulting in a truly unique, warm aroma reminiscent of hazy summer nights in the French countryside.
Nuxe Body Fondant Firming Body Cream
For toned, taut skin, I always turn to this delicious orange blossom scented cream by Nuxe. It has tightening and anti-ageing properties, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple after use. I apply this to my legs before heading off to a party to give me a bit of a confidence boost – they leave my pins feeling so firm and smooth!
Nuxe Reve de Miel Honey Lip Balm
This lip balm is a blogger favourite, and for good reason. If winter has left your lips feeling dry, chapped and in need of intensive nourishment, I can’t recommend this lip balm enough. It’s not greasy or sticky like some lip balms can be, and instantly soothes the lips. If my pout is in particular need of TLC, I apply a generous layer just before I go to bed and wake up with super-smooth, soft lips. Not to mention the utterly delectable scent!
La Roche-PosayLipikar Cleansing Oil
This deeply nourishing oil can be used both in the bath or the shower, and is soap, alcohol and paraben-free. It moisturises and cleanses the skin, leaving it feeling soothed and replenished. I particularly love pouring a few capfuls into a hot bath, letting the fresh citrusy aroma fill the air and zoning out – pure bliss!
Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder
I’ve tried a wide range of translucent setting powders in my time – and alongside the Daniel Sandler Invisible Veil Powder, I’ve got to say this one is one of my favourites. As well as being paraben and fragrance-free, making it ideal for sensitive skins, it is extremely long-lasting, providing resistance against smudging and water for up to 16 hours. Its natural finish means you won’t look like you’re caked in make-up, either.
If you fancy trying out some of the products I’ve mentioned, there’s no better time than the present to get your hands on them. Escentual have up to a third off a whole range of French Pharmacy favourites for the rest of the month, including:
– Vichy, La Roche-Posay and Nuxe at 33% off RRP
– Avene, Klorane, Rene Furterer and Pierre Fabre at 25% off RRP
– Caudalie at 20% off RRP
– A-Derma at 10%off RRP

Lots of love,
