bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Liquid Highlighting Blush Review
Share
In this review, we’re looking at the bareMinerals Highlight Blush; a highlighter-blush hybrid that’ll give your skin healthy colour and a radiant glow. I’m sharing all of the information, including ingredients, shades and how to use it, plus my experience putting it to the test.
You Will Love The Liquid Highlighting Blush If…
If glow is the goal, you’ll love the Highlighting Blush. It revealed cheekbones I didn’t even know I had! As it’s a 2-in-1, it’ll also appeal to anyone who loves multi-purpose products.
What Are Highlighting Blushers and How Do They Work?
The Highlighting Blush is a 2-in-1; it combines a blush’s rosiness and a highlighter’s glow. They’re liquid illuminators that leave an ethereal, dewy glow on the skin. And they offer more than radiance; the formula contains mineral microspheres that blur pores and imperfections for flawless all-day wear.
What Does They Smell And Feel Like?
They don’t have a scent. As for texture, they’re a cream-gel formula that melts into the skin easily. They can be worn alone on bare skin or layered over your favourite makeup products. Once on, they feel lightweight and hydrating.
The Shades
Rose Glow: milkshake pink.
Opal Glow: golden pink
Pink Glow: champagne pink.
Mauve Glow: bronze pink.
Peach Glow: copper peach.
Best Place and Time To Use It?
The Highlighting Blush is best applied to the high points of your face where the sun hits your face. They can be worn alone or layered over your favourite makeup products. The formula can be worn subtly during the daytime with a light layer or intensified for the evening. You can wear them year-round. I also like to wear them on my eyes!
Sustainability and Values…

My Overall Experience
I love the Highlighting Blushes! My favourite is peach glow. As someone who enjoys using cream or liquid formulas because I have dry skin they were everything I wanted them to be. They’re lightweight on the skin, blend easily, and don’t remove or move around your makeup underneath if you choose to layer it. They give your skin the most dewy, gorgeous glow that looks healthy and radiant.
One thing I learnt is that a little bit goes a long way. So, apply a small amount first, then layer. I applied them to the high points of my face, like my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose, and also on my eyelids. The formulas wore wonderfully throughout the day, and I found no reason to top them up. I received so many compliments on how ‘glowing’ my skin looked.
