1. Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser
What’s Changed:
✓ The Packaging
✓ The Name
✓ Now 99% Natural
Although a few things about the Extremely Gentle Cleanser have changed, one thing hasn’t; it’s still the ultimate face wash choice if you have sensitive skin. The fragrance-free, gel-lotion formula removes dirt and makeup from the skin (including the eyes and lips) without water, a known irritant for hypersensitive skin. In addition to cleaning your face, it also helps soothe and calm delicate complexions with soothing Avene Thermal Spring Water, an iconic Avene ingredient; that’s one thing that’ll never change!
The bottle looks a little different, too. The rounded edges are now more square, a simple yet sleek change.
2. Avene Tolerance Control Soothing Skin Recovery Cream
What’s Changed:
✓ The Size (Now 40ml)
✓ The Packaging (Still has Sterile Cosmetics)
✓ The Name
✓ New Ingredients (& Now 98% Natural)
The Recovery Cream is a best-selling product. It’s adored by many as an everyday moisturiser for sensitive skin. If you’re one of its fans, you’ll be pleased to know the changes made to this product are a few minor improvements. If something isn’t broken, why fix it and all that! The most notable new ingredient added is D-Sensinose, a patented active ingredient that calms feelings of discomfort in 30 seconds.
If you’re eagle-eyed, you may notice a slight packaging difference, too. The face cream still looks very ‘Avene’, but it’s a lot more modern now with a slimline look and pump, all while keeping the Sterile cosmetics tube that preserves the formula from outside air and bacteria for optimal tolerance.
3. Avene Tolerance Control Soothing Skin Recovery Balm
What’s Changed:
✓ The Size (Now 40ml)
✓ The Packaging (Still has Sterile Cosmetics)
✓ The Name
✓ New Ingredients (& Now 99% Natural)
Much like the Skin Recovery Cream, the Skin Recovery Balm has undergone a few tiny tweaks. Like its predecessor, a more intense version of the Skin Recovery Cream, the balm is intended for those who want a richer option to the cream; it’s an excellent option for those with very dry skin.
The balm has undergone the same name and packaging changes as the cream and also has the new patented ingredient D-Sensinose, which calms feelings of discomfort in 30 seconds.
