Luce di Rosa by Acqua di Parma is a unisex scent from their popular Signatures of the Sun collection, which launched in the UK in September 2024.
Fresh and spicy, and more like the thorny, green stem of a rose, this floral-woody perfume smells sophisticated and chic. It also has a surprisingly peppery edge. Let’s find out more.
Luce di Rosa smells like
When I spray it, I can picture the green side of the rose, and geranium plays a big part in that. This rose is soft, slightly spicy with a sprinkle of pepper. For me, most rose perfumes can be quite fleeting, but Luce di Rosa has body and power, while still in keeping with Acqua di Parma’s suave freshness. The signature bergamot creates a lush, dewy style rose scent, but as it dries down, that’s when you start to experience the musky woodiness in the base.
Top notes: Bergamot, Longoza Oil, Pink Pepper.
Heart notes: Rose Bulgaria Oil, Geranium, Fresh Black Pepper.
Base notes: Vetiver Oil, Gaiac Wood, Cedarwood.

Seasonally, it works for spring and summer because of its floral side, but it also lends itself well to the colder months of autumn and winter because of its soft, spicy side.

On me, Luce di Rosa lasted around 5 hours which is impressive.
