5 Lipsticks That Last 100 Kisses

Discover Our Favourite Long-Lasting Lipsticks...

Finding a lipstick that can withstand eating, drinking, and kissing without fading can feel like a never-ending quest. We’ve all experienced the frustration of touch-ups after just a few sips or bites, and a quick peck can sometimes ruin our perfectly applied lippy. That’s why I’ve curated a list of five exceptional, long-lasting lipsticks that stand the test of time. With these trustworthy formulas, you can go about your day - and those sweet moments - without a second thought.

1. Lancome L'Absolu Rouge Drama Matte

This isn’t just lipstick; it’s enriched with nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid that keep lips hydrated while delivering a vibrant colour that lasts all day. I love how smoothly it glides on, and I can count on it to stay put through meals and chats without constant touch-ups. The stunning range of shades means there’s also a colour match for any occasion.

2. Benefit Love Tint

I chose Benefit Love Tint for this round-up because I love its unique stain effect, which, as a category, is trending on TikTok right now. It’s not a traditional lipstick per se, but that’s what makes it special. This lightweight formula provides a beautiful, just-bitten look that lasts all day without the heaviness of typical lipsticks. I appreciate how it seamlessly blends into my lips for a fresh, vibrant finish, plus it’s versatile enough to use on my cheeks. It’s the perfect go-to for a natural, effortless look that stays put!

3. Guerlain Rouge G Velvet

Rouge G Velvet is one of the most comfortable matte lipsticks I've ever tried, which I put down to its 89% skincare base. The creamy lip colour glides on effortlessly, delivering a rich colour that lasts all day without feeling heavy. I love how it sets to a beautiful velvety matte finish that doesn't settle into or accentuate fine lines. And the packaging? It's a fashion accessory! The refill and case are sold separately, so you can mix and match. It’s absolutely chic and feels so luxurious!

4. bareMinerals Lasting Matte

Liquid lipsticks are a great alternative if you are looking for a matte finish but have dry lips. They can also be just as long-lasting! Take the bareMinerals Lasting Matte formulas, for example; they're creamy and comfortable but dry down to a velvety matte. They're one of my favourite formulas because they have a stain-like effect on the lips, which fades evenly over the lips, unlike other lipsticks that leave an unsightly lip line.

5. YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Velvet Radical

If you always think your lipstick looks messy, you'll love The Slim. This long-lasting lipstick's sharp edges double as a lip liner, tracing your lip line. I have quite small lips, so I often read for this formula to add depth and shape.

It also has incredible longevity thanks to its matte formula, but I often say it's the matte lip colour for anyone who hates wearing matte lip colour. Despite its velvet finish it's still very comfortable and nourishing
