Shannyxox’s review of the Clarins Extra-Comfort Foundation SPF 15

Best foundation I have ever used! I am a girl who is always trying out new make up, and who is extremely fussy when it comes to foundation. I have tried so many and have only ever found 1 I loved. I was sceptical about buying this knowing how fussy I am but thought I would give it ago as I was still looking for my ‘perfect foundation’. I can honestly say this is the BEST foundation I have ever used, I am in love! If you want flawless looking skin with medium to full coverage (very easy to build) then this is for you! It feels like im not wearing any make up, it feels like a lovely moisturising cream. I cant rave about this foundation enough. If you are sceptical about the price, dont be! You need a tiny amount, it will last super long!

Hollyk’s review of the La Roche-Posay Rosaliac CC Daily Unifying Complete Correction Cream SPF 30

Another wonderful moisturiser from La Roche Posay. I read a very complimentary review of this online and, as I love La Roche Posay products, I couldn’t not try it!

The consistency is light and fresh although it does seem a tiny bit dark for a ‘one size fits all’ shade. That said, it blends wonderfully and the colour is unifying (as they say!) without being too cakey. It’s weird how it looks one colour on your hand but is flawless on your face: my sister and I have totally different skin tones and we both like how our skin looks with it on.

I like how the pump is on the bottom of the tube so there’ll be no banging on the bottom to drain the last dregs when I get to the end of it, which I have no doubt I will! That said, I think it will last ages as a little goes a long way.

My only slight reservation is that it is slightly higher coverage than I usually use: I think this is where the difference between BB and CC creams is evident. Of course this is no criticism on the product itself, only my preference. I use this when my cheeks are redder than normal or if I want a more ‘done’ look. It is possibly a little too heavy for me for the daytime, but I’m a true foundation-phobe!

Really fresh-feeling, feels light on the skin and really does even out skin tone. Highly recommend!

ZPhoenix’s review of the Vichy Normaderm Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care

Holy Grail moisturiser! My hero! I absolutely LOVE this moisturiser, where should I start! After years of struggling to find a moisturiser which would suit my dry-combination skin (dry cheeks, oily t-zone), this is THE ONE. The main reason why I brought this is because it contains salicylic acid which maintains the oil balance in my skin. What a great find! This moisturises my cheeks really well yet is so lightweight on my t-zone, no weight whatsoever – an absolutely perfect balance, feels like a dream to apply everyday. It has a mattifying element, and smells fresh too – I have slightly sensitive skin but the fragrance is not too heavy and doesn’t set off inflammations. Thank you Vichy for top skincare, minus the extortionate prices – and PLEASE don’t ever discontinue this product!

CherryCoke’s review of Clarins Professional Foundation Brush

By far, the best foundation brush I have used.. This foundation brush is incredibly easy to use. With its long substantial handle it is easy to grip, and easy to apply make-up delicately and precisely. Aesthetically it is pleasing. With the long slender handle in clear Perspex, and the dark luscious brush being fastened with a golden band, the brush looks high in quality, and adds class to the make-up bag. As mentioned, the handle is substantial and the brush certainly does not feel cheap or flimsy.

The bristles of the brush are incredibly soft. They do not absorb make-up like other brushes I have used, but softly spread the make up around the face and allow the user to blend flawlessly into the skin.
The bristles are very securely fastened into the handle of the brush, and I have had no incidents of bristles coming loose and scattering all over my freshly applied foundation. This is a welcome fact, as I have used other expensive brushes which have malted all over, a massive bug bear of mine!

Cleaning the brush is incredibly easy. I have had no problems keeping my clean and tidy; I simply use anti-bacterial hand soap and warm water to clean off the worst of the residue, and follow with my specialist make-up brush cleanser. I reshape the brush whilst damp, and leave on a clean flat surface to dry naturally. The brush has kept its shape, and as I have said, has not started to malt.

I highly recommend this brush to anyone, and everyone. I use it not only for my foundation, but for my concealer too. It is a wonderful brush that has so far lasted me a long time. Easy to clean, easy to use, and very effective. There is nothing I can say is bad!

Ieva’s review of the Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder

Does the job perfectly. I have used this product for some time and I can say that it is the best setting powder for oily skin. I use it over my foundation and it keeps me matt for about 5 hours, and even after 5 hours when my skin starts to get shiny it is much better than with other powders I have tried.
The only downside is the packaging. It is not the most handy thing to carry around. But it is not impossible.
I highly recommend this product for people with oily skin.
