Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat & Ceramide Review

Tired of limp, oily hair? Klorane's Dry Shampoo has long been a popular choice for quick hair refreshment.

Now, with an updated formula featuring Ceramides, it promises not just clean-looking hair, but also nourishment and protection.

In this Klorane dry shampoo review, I'll share my honest experience with the new formula, exploring its effectiveness, feel, scent, and whether it truly lives up to the hype.

Why We Were Excited To Try Klorane Dry Shampoo

What's Special About Klorane Dry Shampoo?

As I mentioned above, adding Ceramides is a big deal, as it strengthens and protects your hair and scalp. With that change, I’ve noticed that the powders only take two minutes to absorb excess oils to give me that fresh hair day look.

Who is Klorane Dry Shampoo Best For?

All hair types can use this Dry Shampoo. I would say it’s better suited to busy lifestyles, for example, busy mums, those looking for speedy volume etc. It isn’t white like the older version. It has a 100% invisible finish, making it perfect for speedy styling.

Our Experience Using Klorane Dry Shampoo

A Closer Look at the Ingredients

  • Oat milk: Its beta-glucans act as a natural humectant, drawing moisture into the hair shaft and locking it in. This can help to improve dryness, brittleness, and frizziness, leaving hair feeling soft and manageable.
  • Ceramides: Ceramides are naturally occurring lipids that play a vital role in maintaining the health and integrity of the hair shaft. They are found in the outermost layer of the hair, called the cuticle, and they help to provide structure, protect against damage, and maintain moisture balance.
  • 99% natural origin ingredients
  • 100% natural origin powders

Full ingredients list:

Butane, Propane, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch (Oryza Sativa Starch)*, Isobutane, Alcohol*, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch (Zea Mays Starch)*, Avena Sativa (Oat) Sprout Oil (Avena Sativa Sprout Oil)*, Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine*, Butylene Glycol*, Cellulose*, Cyclodextrin*, Fragrance (Parfum), Isopropyl Myristate*, Magnesium Stearate*, Microcrystalline Cellulose*, Water (Aqua)*.

What Does The Klorane Dry Shampoo Smell & Feel Like?

I think the 2023 Oat Milk feels so much lighter than the original. It doesn’t leave a residue when I scratch my head, the white powder doesn’t build up under my nails, and the spray feels lighter and softer.

I gave it a good spray, and I could hardly smell anything, but there was a subtle plant-based kindy of oaty scent to it.

How to Use Klorane Dry Shampoo for Best Results

You can use this spray to fake a hair wash or add volume to your hair.

To get the best results, spray into dry hair 12 cm away from your root the night before you need your hair to look freshly washed.

In a rush and want to add volume? Follow the steps above; all it takes is 2 minutes for it to work.

What’s Special About The Format?

I love the bigger size. It’s much more cost-effective. I can’t wait to see mini travel sizes launch next!
