Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream All Skin Types Review

Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream All Skin Types Review

Your skin works hard during the day, so it’s important to give it TLC overnight. Our skin repairs itself while we sleep, and the Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream All Skin Types aids this process. It’s part of the best-selling Multi-Active range that targets the first signs of ageing. Let’s find out if this moisturiser is for you…

You Will Love The Multi-Active Night Cream All Skin Types If…

If you’re starting to notice the first signs of ageing, this night cream is made for you. The Multi-Active range is made for busy people with stressful lives. Its innovative formula helps counteract the effects of stress on the skin, including premature ageing. If you’re unsure if your skin is showing signs of stress ageing, here are signs to look out for:

Enlarged pores

Uneven skin tone

Dullness

Fine lines and wrinkles

Dehydration

Hollow features

As the name suggests, it’s perfect for all skin types; that said, if you have dry skin and prefer something a little richer, there’s an option for dry skin.

What Does It Do?

This night cream renews the skin while you sleep. It fights the effects of stress on your skin, which can lead to the first signs of ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles. The formula rejuvenates the complexion overnight so that when you awake, your skin looks young, radiant, hydrated and smooth.

How Does It Do It?

Clarins has upgraded this formula for 2024. Now, the night cream contains Clarins’ Skin Charger Complex, which combines an innovative blend of niacinamide (vitamin B3) and organic sea holly extract, which reduces visible signs of ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles, lack of density, and dullness. The moisturiser contains 92% natural ingredients that strengthen the skin’s barrier function, boosting its radiance so that the skin looks more youthful and rested.

What Does It Smell And Feel Like?

It has a cream texture that is nourishing but lightweight, so it won’t overburden combination skin types. It has a calming, fresh-aromatic scent that has been clinically proven to improve sleep quality by 41%. I didn’t think the smell would make much of a difference, but I was wrong. I definitely felt more at ease after applying it – and my husband even commented on how nice it smelt.

Best Place and Time To Use It?

It’s a night cream, so apply this moisturiser before bed. In your skincare routine, it comes after your serum or the final step.

Multi-Active Night Cream Design and Aesthetic Is Special Because…

It comes in a heavy glass jar that feels luxurious. Plus, it has a new look for 2024 – it’s a dark pink that’s easy to differentiate from the day cream.

Sustainability and Values…

The jar comes in a carton printed on paper from sustainably managed forests.

My Overall Experience

I was impressed by this night cream. Using it was a luxurious experience – the cream’s texture felt nourishing but wasn’t too heavy. Its smell really surprised me. I knew it would smell nice (all Clarins products tend to), but it was very calming, and I looked forward to applying it every night. It was the ideal way to wind down before bed. I found that upon waking my skin looked more rested and even, which in turn made me want to apply less makeup.
