Yves Saint Laurent Heritage La Collection Fragrances

Yves Saint Laurent have created a number of fragrance behemoths since their first, Y, in 1964. As is often the case in the world of perfumery, scents are discontinued to make way for new creations and favourite fragrances are lost. But fear not, Yves Saint Laurent fans – you’re in for a real treat.

To celebrate 50 years of expert perfume creation YSL have launched their La Collection Heritage, a range of eight classic YSL fragrance classics spanning each decade from the 1960s to the 2000s. From the frivolous glamour of Yvresse to the intense masculinity of Rive Gauche Pour Homme, each timeless essence is repackaged in a chunky, weighty bottle that reflects the prestige of the brand. Take a look at what’s been relaunched below…

Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Toilette

Y was Yves Saint Laurent’s first fragrant creation way back in 1964. An iconic scent with a strong-willed character, it is every bit as striking and sensual as as an Yves Saint Laurent couture design. The scent of aldehydes is paired with an abundant bouquet of honeysuckle, gardenia, tuberose, jasmine and Bulgarian rose for a beautifully signature.

Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme Eau de Toilette

Pour Homme is a vibrant male fragrance first introduced in 1971, and was originally created for Yves Saint Laurent himself. The scent embodies embodies the sexy, masculine spirit of the house’s designs with its freshness and simplicity. This aromatic chypre signature brings together refreshing citrus and a touch of mint with a vibrant base of oak moss.

Yves Saint Laurent Jazz Eau de Toilette

This classic scent was introduced in 1988. Yves Saint Laurent Jazz is an effervescent fragrance that captures Paris in an era and a generation longing for liberty and joie de vivre. Fresh and vibrant coriander, geranium and artemisia relay a virile masculinity. A sombre and mysterious patchouli note rounds off the dynamic scent.

Yves Saint Laurent Yvresse Eau de Toilette

Yvresse is a sparkling cocktail that was first launched in 1993. Inspired by a fizzy glass of champagne, the scent is as fun-loving as it is elegant – the essence of YSL style. The luxuriously fruity aroma of nectarine, anise and mint tantalises the taste buds, while a voluptuous signature heart of rose otto and litchi create an unforgettable lasting impression.

Yves Saint Laurent In Love Again Eau de Toilette

This fun-loving scent was introduced in 1998. Yves Saint Laurent In Love Again captures the giddy emotion of a first love in a sweetly sensual eau de toilette. Blackcurrant, mandarin and grape provide a feminine opening, while a plush heart of rose and peony add a touch of sophistication.

Yves Saint Laurent M7 Eau de Toilette

A warm and resonating male fragrance, M7 Oud Absolu was first introduced in 2002. It has an overdose of woody, aromatic notes, including a rich heart of patchouli wood, together with a dry down of oud, cistus and amber. M7 is a scent of excess and complexity that remains resolutely masculine.

Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Pour Homme Eau de Toilette

Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche is a sensual, addictive fragrance that was first introduced in 2003. From the classic harmony of fern in the top notes to the seductive, uncompromising dry down of oakmoss, patchouli and gaiac wood, Rive Gauche Pour Homme invents a new male archetype.
