After, being recommended this the Avene Cleanance Mask by one of our lovely pharmacists in store, I can honestly say that I’ve never looked back when it comes to pampering my skin.
I have to be careful when picking out a facemask, any old passion fruit sachet won’t don’t! My temperamental breakouts need clay and micro-exfoliants to keep itself clear and healthy. That’s exactly why I love this mask – it’s basically a scrub and pamper all in one, and it’s perfect for those ‘eruption’ days where your skin just needs a deep, purifying cleanse – which is weekly, for me.
Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray

Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray is a cornerstone in my facial care regime. I have extra sensitive skin prone to redness, especially in the times when the Seasons change. In Winter, the central heating dries and irritates my skin immensely. Avene Spring Water is a fantastic aid to relieve all symptoms of irritated “winter” skin: it soothes, combats redness and hydrates. Avene Water is the first thing I use in the morning and the last thing at night when I prepare my skin for an overnight sleep. It is working beautifully over makeup as well, as long as it is not wiped away and let evaporate naturally. It works well as a mist over creams and oils too.
I love wearing dark red lipsticks, unfortunately it is quite tricky if you have a lot of redness in your skin, as the face can appear “messy”. However, I have no problem if I use Avene Thermale Spray throughout the day, it keeps redness under control. I would recommend it to anyone suffering from redness or mild rosacea symptoms.
Avene Tolerance Extreme

I went through a period earlier this year where my skin took a complete nosedive. I’d never experienced anything like it. It was tight and sore, the texture was incredibly rough, and all of my usual skincare favourites just seemed to make my skin angry. At the peak of my skincare frustration, Avene relaunched their ultra-simple SOS collection Tolerance Extreme, so I tentatively gave it a chance. I was tipped over the edge after I heard that each product is made with just 7 ultra-gentle ingredients – that’s music to the ears of the super sensitive!
I tried the buttery Mask first, and it made my forehead feel less like sandpaper and more like skin. Then I introduced the Cleansing Lotion and the Cream, and slowly but surely my skin started to become more healthy-looking and comfortable. My skin is doing much better now, but I haven’t strayed away from the Tolerance Extreme collection. If you’re at the end of your tether, give it a try – it’s like skincare ambrosia.
Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser

First of all, I AM SUPER IN LOVE WITH THIS. The Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser feels so good on my skin and it doesn’t sting. It’s not a foam cleanser which I was not used to. I usually rinse with water but it still does the job well. I have to say that I did not expect to love the product so much.
It doesn’t have a strong scent which is a plus. It doesn’t dry or tighten my skin in any way. AND the best part is that it removes so much makeup. It made my face feel so so so clean. I used to buy this expensive Korean brand before and I swear this was a huge step up and for a good price! I would recommend this to anyone and it especially feels good with the toner because the toner will pick up more dirt or makeup on your face, ensuring that nothing is left unclean.
