Spotlight on the Stila Palettes

With the last rays of summer fading even quicker than your hard-earned tan, you’ll be wanting something lovely to cheer both you and your makeup bag up a little bit. The Stila Beach Palettes are summery by name and very versatile by nature, with each one offering four harmonious shadows, a highlighter/bronzer, and a corresponding blush for on-the-go beautifying…

Striking in South Beach, £10.00
Create some drama with this nightlife inspired palette that is packed full of on-trend blues and darker hues. Vamp it up with the deep lavender Cabana instead of traditional black for a smoky eye with a modern twist, and line the lids with the sparkly Nightlife for definition. Sculpt your cheekbones with the SoBe bronzer to finish off your ultra-glamorous look.
Eye Shadows: Ocean Drive (Pearlescent Grey), Wave (Soft Blue), Nightlife (Black Sparkle), Cabana (Lavender Mauve)
Cheek Colour: Art Deco (Petal Pink)
Bronzer/Highlighter: SoBe (True Bronze)

Wonderful in Waikiki, £10.00
The brightest of the bunch, this palette is for those who just can’t let go of their summer. With a wealth of warm, bright and metallic colours, it’s ideal for extending the look of your tan or for brightening up a dull autumn complexion. The Sarong shade is one of my very favourite shadows in the collection palettes; it’s three dimensional coppery shine is so very beautiful.
Eye Shadows: Wahine (Golden Sand), Sarong (Copper Bronze), Coconut (Chocolate Brown), Surf (Bright Matte Blue)
Cheek Colour: North Shore (Orange Coral)
Bronzer/Highlighter: Hanauma (Bronze Orange)

Living the Life in Laguna, £10.00
For youthful rosy hues, look no further than this lovely palette. The pink really brightens up a sallow complexion and looks great on most skin tones, while the subtle shimmer in the shadows, blush and highlighter illuminates the face and makes for a perfectly ethereal look. If you’re stuck on neutrals but would like to try brighter hues, try this palette as the perfect bridge between the two.
Eye Shadows: Sand Dollar (Soft Pink), Sunset (Bronze Coral), Cove (Smoky Mauve), Bonfire (Chocolate Brown)
Cheek Colour: Seashell (Soft Pink)
Bronzer/Highlighter: Pacific Coast (Peach Shimmer)

Haute in the Hamptons, £10.00
Despite containing the most neutral colours of any of the palettes, Haute in the Hamptons is anything but boring. The eyeshadow shades are shot through with beautiful shimmer that looks wonderful when blended into a subtle smokey eye, and the true pink of the Hydrangea cheek colour sets the look off wonderfully. This is the one you’ll reach for every morning for a quick and effective everyday look.
Eye Shadows: Sand (Neutral Matte), Linen (Golden Shimmer), Route 27 (Dark Brown Shimmer), Blue Skies (Denim Blue Shimmer)
Cheek Colour: Hydrangea (Rose Pink)
Bronzer/Highlighter: Montauk Highway (Terracotta Rose)

Stunning in Sayulita, £10.00
This beautiful harmony of shades is perhaps the most autumnal of the bunch, with beautiful green, mauve, brown and neutral shades that shine with a metallic finish on the skin. The neutral cheek shades mean that all emphasis is on your gorgeous eyes. Try wetting your brush before applying Palm Trees for a wonderful high shine finish.
Eye Shadows: Starfish (Neutral Shimmer), Sandbar (Dark Brown Shimmer), Getaway (Deep Mauve Metallic), Palm Trees (Leaf Green Metallic)
Cheek Colour: Playa (Deep Rose)
Bronzer/Highlighter: Banderas Bay (Peach)
