Scented Spooks Competition

Thanks for the fantastic response, everyone. We selected our winner as Azra Noir, whose fragrant tale of Pinhead was unnerving to say the least! Congratulations!

It’s the most malevolent time of the year once again, and we’ve got a suitably ghoulish Halloween competition to get you in the mood.

To be in with a chance of winning a £50 voucher to spend on some treats at Escentual, we’re asking you to pick your favourite villain from Halloween cinema and pair them up with your idea of their perfect scent. Leave your comments in the section below – the more creative the answer, the better!

Here’s my own (rather silly) example to get you started:

Sarah from Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus is a must watch for me at Halloween. My favourite character is Sarah, deftly played by Sarah Jessica Parker, who is fluffy with a hint of darkness. My perfect pick for Sarah could only be Etat Libre d’Orange Encens et Bubblegum, a sweet and sticky eau de parfum with an underlying smokiness that rises in ominous tendrils.
