Roberto Cavalli Just Cavalli Review

Roberto Cavalli Just Cavalli

Following on from the carnal sensuality of the Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum comes the youthful and sexy Roberto Cavalli Just Cavalli, a heady combination of flora and woods.

I loved last year’s immensely popular Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum, a flamboyant floral oriental with pink peppercorn, orange flower and tonka beans. Though it was compelling, it proved a little too voluptuous for everyday wear. The latest release from the brand, however, is a little more suited to my fragrance needs. Roberto Cavalli Just Cavalli borrows the same exotic, hypnotic feel from its predecessor, but makes it brighter and more youthful.

Just Cavalli is described as a white floral scent, but it is complex; it harbours a deeper, more animalistic tone that harks back to the aforementioned Roberto Cavalli for Women. It is an undeniably sexy fragrance, opening with a fanfare of captivating neroli flower and tiare flower. The dry down is comprised of a more unusual ingredient, palisander wood, noted for its depth. The overall effect is provocative yet very wearable, lasting for around 8 hours on the skin, which is excellent for an eau de toilette.

Perfect for: Fans of Paco Rabanne Lady Million, Armani Code Pour Femme and possibly even Yves Saint Laurent Opium Vapeurs will love the orange-tinged neroli and wood combination.
