Paco Rabanne Lady Million Eau My Gold

Absolutely incandescent with sparkling radiance, Paco Rabanne Lady Million Eau My Gold is the antidote to dull winter days. The fragrance is the insouciant younger sister of the original Lady Million Eau de Parfum; the fringed flapper dress and bobbed cut answer to Lady Million’s elegant gown and pin curls.
There’s no denying the allure of the original’s extravagant honeyed accords, but with this sparkling Eau de Toilette perfumer Anne Flipo introduces a welcome new facet of of Lady Million’s personality – one that isn’t all about material indulgence, but rather self-indulgence and having fun. It’s a fragrance as effervescent as champagne: bright, fun-filled and still completely luxurious. Let’s explore…
The Face: Hana Jirickova
Hana Jirickova has always looked to Paco Rabanne as the perfect ambassdor of her two passions: fashion and art. So, when the brand chose her to be the new face of Lady Million, she was elated, “when I heard during Milan fashion week that I had gotten it, I jumped up and down like a crazy person in the lobby of my hotel!”.
For Hana, Lady Million is the embodiment of seduction, freedom and happiness: “she loves life, is full of attitude and pushes things to the limit. She is my kind of woman; that is why I wanted to be her.”
The Perfumer: Anne Flipo
Famous nose Anne Flipo was tasked with job of interpreting the vivacious Eau My Gold woman as a sparkling, unforgettable fragrance. Her inspiration was quite simple, to recreate a moment of pure, unadulterated happiness that fizzes and pops like a glass of champagne.
“Above all the idea of pleasure, which is at the heart of this fragrance story” – Anne Flipo
To achieve her ideal fragrance, Anne committed herself completely to its creation, “before coming up with the accord, I needed to immerse myself in the story several times. It is very important in my way of working, which is all the more obvious as it is one of Paco Rabanne’s strengths”.

The Fragrance
Lady Million Eau My Gold is a fragrance of pure, extravagant happiness. At its heart is a green mango note “worked in a balanced way, not too sweet, not too sulphurous, which would have evoked an overly ripe fruit”, paired with the zesty freshness of grapefruit. In the heart, violet leaf and orange blossom absolutes give a sparkling feel, before decending into a sensuous base of cedarwood and skin-like musk.
