Talk us through your French Pharmacy routine and how you use them…
French Pharmacy is a core part of my skincare because it makes up at least half of my staples! My first French love, like many, is the Embryolisse moisturiser and is something I use twice a day, every day – hydration is essential! I use it to prime before makeup and moisturise my skin, and apply a thicker layer before bed to act as an overnight face mask. In terms of SPF, I have two and they are both Avene: Intense protection for my body and B-Protect for my face, which is tinted so it works well under makeup as a seamless base or days I want a barely-there but unified finish.

From Eucerin, I always reach for the Hyaluron Cleansing Milk as part of my double cleansing ritual morning and night. I love using the Eucerin Hyaluron Mist just out of a hot shower to restore hydration, and finally, the iconic Aquaphor, which I use for almost everything else; lip balm, seal skincare, dry skin, heal cuts and burns, you name it, Aquaphor can probably help!

Last up is my hair. For me, it’s all about the Klorane Mango line (nothing but the best for my locks!). Aside from smelling insanely delicious mango, and being made with natural ingredients, it is also so nourishing, especially for dry hair.

What’s your favourite product in the line-up and why?
My most trusted product in this lineup has to be Aquaphor because I always carry one around in my bag and it can be used for almost anything.

How many times have you bought it?

  2. Klorane Aquatic Mint Detox Dry Shampoo
  3. PAYOT Peeling Bubble Mask

Talk us through your French Pharmacy routine and how you use them…
My French Pharmacy routine features little luxuries for beauty emergencies, starting with the Klorane Aquatic Mint Dry Shampoo for bad hair days; this dry shampoo is also a great pick-me-up with its energising mint, lemon and tea scent. Next up is the PAYOT Peeling Bubble Mask, which is perfect for a relaxing evening after a long day of exposure to city pollution. I love how the pink gel is both detoxifying and oxygenating, leaving my skin renewed – plus, the way it transforms into a white foam after applying! Last but not least, Avene Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream is my immediate go-to for very dry, cracked skin when my usual moisturiser just isn’t cutting it as the thick texture provides instant relief to my irritated skin.

What’s your favourite product in the line up and why?
My favourite product on my shelfie is the Avene Cicalfate+ I have been suffering from dry, cracked skin my whole life and this is my must-have for bad skin days. Packed full of healing agents, this cream repairs your skin two and a half times faster than your skin’s natural healing process. Its multi-purpose functions make it a handbag must so that you’re prepared for anything from sunburn to bug bites.

How many times have you bought it?
This is the first time I have bought any of these products. I will be reaching for the Avene Cicafate+ again, and I’d like to explore the Klorane Aquatic Mint Detox range in the future.

How many times have you bought it?
Twice – my second tube is on its way to me right now!

Out of my French Pharmacy Shelfie, there are a few staples that I use every day; I always start my post-cleansing skincare routine with a few spritzes of Uriage’s Thermal Water to lock in hydration. I’ll then apply the Uriage eye cream before following up with any serums and a moisturiser in my usual skincare routine. Then, it’s back to French with the final step in my skincare routine – Avene’s B-Protect. As this is a tinted sunscreen with very high broad-spectrum protection, it ticks off coverage, hydration and SPF in one.

When it comes to my hair care routine, it’s currently all French Pharmacy, or more specifically, it’s all Klorane! As my hair is dry and frizz-prone, I’ve fallen in love with the mango range as it gives my hair the hydration it so desperately craves. So, my entire routine is now Klorane – shampoo, conditioner and leave-in cream included!

I use the two Eucerin products in my French Pharmacy line up as and when needed; the DermoPURIFYER stick is an SOS saviour when a spot pops up. I love using the Eucerin Aquaphor balm when I’ve been walking and my dry and tired feet need some nourishing hydration. Plus, if I’m looking for a dewy glowy look, I’ll pop it on as a highlighter on the high points of my cheeks. And last but certainly not least, I use the Avene hand cream when my hands are feeling particularly dry – it’s great after hand sanitising.

What’s your favourite product in the line-up and why?
This is such a tricky one because there are just too many favourites in this line up. But if I have to choose just one, it would have to be Uriage’s Thermal Water Spray. It’s my absolute go-to because I love how quickly and easily it gives skin a boost of hydration and how versatile it is.

How many times have you bought it?
Three times (at least!)

Uriage Eau Thermale Water Spray – I keep this on my desk for a top-up of moisture throughout the day, and I love spraying it on my skin straight after a shower to lock hydration in.

Avene Cleanance Comedomed – This isn’t an everyday one for me, but it’s an SOS treatment that I apply to spots as and when they appear – it zaps them really quickly, so it’s a must-have in my line up!

Avene Hydrance Aqua Gel – This is a new one I was kindly sent by Avene; I quickly became obsessed with its cooling and detoxifying abilities, plus it provides a whopping 24 hours’ moisture! I’ve been using this as my daily moisturiser and I must say I’m impressed.

Avene B-Protect – This is my daily tinted SPF that’s the last step in my morning routine; I love how it gives a subtle unified and radiant finish with high SPF 50 protection.

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre – This moisturiser is one of my favourites, as I know it is for many! I use this as a makeup primer on days when I’m wearing makeup, and love putting a thick layer on before bed as a nourishing mask – you can be sure to wake up to seriously soft and plump skin!

Eucerin Aquaphor – I like to pop a thick layer of Aquaphor on my lips before bed as it locks in moisture to keep them from getting dry and chapped. This is another staple of mine that I like to keep stocked up on because it has so many uses – it works as a barrier balm for dry and cracked skin so it’s great for any areas that need a little TLC (like the feet, knees, elbows, hands), and can also be used as a highlighter to give a healthy dewy glow!

What’s your favourite product in the line-up and why?
That’s a tough one – they’re all my favourites! If I really had to pick, I would say the Avene B-Protect as I love the tinted glow it provides as well as the supreme SPF 50 defence and long-lasting hydration.

How many times have you bought it?
I’ve lost count! I always stock up on this one during our French Pharmacy sale.

What French Pharmacy products are in your shelfie?

  1. Eucerin Actinic Control MD Fluid SPF100
  2. Avene Cleanance Comedomed Anti-Blemishes Concentrate
  3. Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm
  4. Avene Hydrance Hydrating Mist

Talk us through your French Pharmacy routine and how you use them…
French Pharmacy skincare pop-ups at every stage of my skincare routine. After cleansing, I use the Avene Hydrance Mist to hydrate my skin, one of my most-used french formulas; it’s the easiest step, and my dry skin laps up the moisture. Serum wise, I have two staples. Eucerin’s Vitamin C Booster is my hero vitamin C treatment (it has more vitamin C than 200 oranges!). I use it daily to keep my skin radiant and protected against oxidative stress. The other is Avene Comedomed, a blemish-busting serum powered by Comedoclastin (25%), a natural active ingredient derived from the plant milk thistle that helps regulate sebum production. I don’t use this every day, but when spots appear, I run straight to it. At the end of my routine, I apply Eucerin Actinic Control Fluid SPF100, a broad-spectrum sunscreen that’s super lightweight and sits well under my makeup – and offers a massive SPF 100 protection! Eucerin Aquaphor is how I end my routine always, a little on the lips and on any dry patches – and, trust me, there’s always some dry patches when you’re eczema-prone like I am.

What’s your favourite product in the lineup and why?
It’s a hard choice! I love all the products in my routine, so I’ll have to opt for my most-used product, which I mentioned beforehand. The Avene Hydrance Hydrating Mist is one that I reach for in the morning, night, and throughout the day to keep my skin hydrated; it’s been a lifesaver in the recent heatwave. It provides 24-hour hydration in just 3 seconds, so if you’re lazy with your skincare, I can’t recommend this enough.

How many times have you bought it?
Twice – my second bottle is on its way to me as I type this!

Talk us through your French Pharmacy routine and how you use them…
When it comes to skincare, my skin strives for moisture and a protected barrier. My skin can fluctuate between seasons and cycles. One minute my skin is clear, then the next minute I see dehydration lines and spots. However, I’m lucky enough to be able to try lots of new things to help, and these are the products I consistently use.

  • Cleanse: Mustela is great for sensitive eyes, I love how gentle it is, and I can share it with my niece.
  • Tone: Avene Thermal Water as I love adding as much hydration as I can in.
  • Moisturise: Eucerin Aquaphor – it’s the best for cracked skin and using as an overnight moisture mask.
  • Sunscreen: Eucerin SPF100 – it’s ultra-safe, lightweight and doesn’t leave a white cast.
  • Body: Eucerin Urea – I use this all over my face and body, as it keeps skin soft, and it keeps KP (chicken skin) at bay.

What’s your favourite product in the lineup and why?
Urea Repair as it surprised me the most. It’s a miracle moisturiser that heals, soothes and moisturises!
