When the Antioxidant Moisturiser with White Tea by Origins first landed on my desk, I was really excited to give it a go. I’ve been searching for a cream that incorporates antioxidants to keep my skin looking youthful and feeling nourished – Plus, my skin tends to dry out in the winter and with the recent change in the weather, my face was feeling particularly parched. So how did this moisturiser fare in my routine?

Since I’ve been in my late 20’s, I’ve added products into my skincare regime that focus on anti-ageing. When I saw that this moisturiser incorporates a trifecta of antioxidants in its formula, I instantly knew it was worth a try. Antioxidants affect how our skin reacts to environmental aggressors like UV and pollution, so incorporating them into this moisturiser ensures skin is protected against free radicals, preventing the visible signs of ageing. This is one product I’ll continue to incorporate into my skincare regime because it transformed my skin from dull and dry to radiant and hydrated after just a few uses.
What Skin Type Is It For?
This cream is aimed at dry/normal skin. My skin type is sensitive/combination and I often suffer with dry skin in the colder months, so my face lapped up this moisturiser. Although I began the week using it twice daily – as reccomended by Origins – I found that it was better for my skin to use it at night. I would wake up with super smooth, hydrated skin. However, the couple of times I did use it in the morning, I found it to be a very smoothing base for makeup.

This cream is full of naturally-derived nourishing ingredients that help defend the skin against the first signs of ageing. Pigmentation and wrinkles are kept at bay with silver tip white tea. The skin’s natural moisture barrier is boosted and protected against irritants with edelweiss and the skin’s texture is refined and pores are blurred, leaving your skin super smooth, fresh and vibrant with willowherb.
What Does It Feel Like?
This is a rich cream that leaves skin smooth and visibly glowier. Skin feels nourished and soft after use and it creates a smooth base for foundation – particularly if your skin is dry.
What Does It Smell Like?
It has a very light herbaceous and floral scent that didn’t upset my sensitive skin.
How Do You Use The Product?
Apply to clean, dry skin and wait for it to absorb into the skin. Origins recommend using this AM and PM and can be used as a base for makeup.
