November Favourites: Our 30-Day Review
Share
We were lucky enough to test November’s most exciting launches. First, we picked what we were excited about, now one month later, we give our honest reviews of how each product lived up to our expectations.
Find out why we were excited to try these launches:
1. Initio Paragon
New launch: Initio Paragon Eau de Parfum
Ben: For me personally, I just think it’s really really good value for money. It’s not necessarily about the expense of the products but it’s about the value that you get with it, you know, there’s no expense spared in the production of such a beautiful fragrance. I sprayed this on a few nights ate a few festive activities and it lasted all evening. So I’d say at least four to six hours.
2. Advanced Beauty Collagen
New launch: Proto-col Advanced Beauty Collagen Red Berry Flavour 15 Day Kit
Chelsey: My favourite thing about this was how easy they were to take. I’m rubbish when it comes to tablets or gummies. I leave them in the house, but these little sachets I’d even put in my coat pocket on the way out the door and then I just take them when I remembered, so I love the format. This is really easy for somebody who wants collagen that is really high quality and also easy to remember to take. Again this is a bovine collagen so not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
3. DHC Hatomugi Range
New launch: DHC Hatomugi Milk, DHC Hatomugi Face Wash, DHC Hatomugi Lotion
Darcey: I definitely noticed a difference my skin’s cleared up quite a lot and my texture seems a lot more even. So I was quite impressed with how gentle the range was. In the past where I’ve used a foaming cleanser, something that’s not a milk cleanser, it usually strips my skin quite a lot and it can feel quite tight but this didn’t do that at all.
4. Parfums de Marly Feminine Discovery Set
New launch: Parfums de Marly Feminine Discovery Set
Zainab: The Parfums de Marly Feminine Discovery set has been great to learn about Parfums de Marly fragrances and I’ve learned I love them all. Delina Exclusif is still my favourite, but what I was surprised about is how different Delina and Delina Exclusif actually are. They’re both like really rosy scents but Exclusif is a lot warmer and deeper.
5. Grown Alchemist Body Exfoliant
New launch: Grown Alchemist Smoothing Body Exfoliant – Peppermint, Pumice & Activated Charcoal
Rosa: This really does the job. It’s a lovely fine grain and as soon as you put it on your hands, your hands become like exfoliating mitts; any dead skin is gone!
6. GUERLAIN La Petite Robe Noire Intense
New launch: GUERLAIN La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum Intense
Ceryn: It definitely got that cherry vibe. I would say similar to the smell of Cherry Bakewells with definitely more of a floral hint to it. It’s quite sweet but not overbearing and intense. It’s sexy but not too OTT.
7. Bioderma Sebium Intense Cleansing Gel
New launch: Bioderma Sebium Intense Purifying Cleansing Active Foaming Gel
Leah: I saw results straightaway and I started noticing all along my jawline, my spots were just slowly getting more controllable and would naturally go which is great, even my blackheads on my nose.

8. Gallinee Vinegar Anti-Blemish Serum
New launch: Gallinee Vinegar Anti-Blemish Serum
Chelsey: One thing I found when I was using it on my face is that it really helped to bring spots to a head, I had quite a lot of under-the-skin spots, this was really helpful to clear them because it didn’t sting it or irritate and my face didn’t feel dry after using it.
9. Wet Brush Original Detangler
New launch: Wet Brush Original Detangler
Rosa: I love this brush. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone and I’m not going to be using any other brushes now because I love it so much.
10. Parfums de Marly Oriana Mini
New launch: Parfums de Marly Oriana Mini
Keavy: Oriana mini is the perfect entry point, it’s super cute. It has all the character of the original bottle, so you’re not missing out!
11. Vichy Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
New launch: Vichy Dercos Anti-Dandruff Advanced Action Shampoo for Itchy Scalp, Dry Hair Refill
Darcey: I thought it was quite good at removing flakes, usually, my skin gets quite itchy. It’s very sensitive, but I didn’t find that at all with this. I wouldn’t say that it dried my ends out either.
12. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Spray
New launch: La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5 Soothing Repairing Spray
Ceryn: I’m a huge fan of the balm, but the fact that it’s a spray now just made it a lot easier to apply and I don’t have to get it all over my hands.
13. Wet Brush Mini Detangler
New launch: Wet Brush Mini Detangler Pink
Chelsey: I’ve not just used it to travel. Another benefit of this brush is that it’s great for little people. My niece, aged 4 now looks forward to brushing her hair with this, rather than it being a dreaded task. Don’t underestimate the power of a mini wet brush!
