I love makeup and I love playing around with different colours and textures, but I think there is something so timelessly chic about looking naturally flawless. Using some tips and tricks, you can look as effortlessly beautiful as possible. The no makeup look is the perfect thing for when you don’t have much time or want to look more polished quickly.

You can use something with light coverage for this look, and the REN Satin Perfection BB Cream SPF15 is absolutely perfect as it also has skin benefits that ensure your skin is looked after. It’s also amazing at providing some really subtle coverage and at evening out the skin, but it’s so good at smoothing the skin out.

To mask any areas of imperfections or to hide any dark circles, the Clarins Instant Concealer is the best because it’s so pigmented and so hydrating. You only need to use a tiny amount, and the key to the no makeup look is to ensure that everything is as blended as possible. If you’re not going to wear eyeshadow, it’s also a good tip to blend a little concealer onto your eyelids to make everything look as even as possible.

When you’re not wearing a lot of makeup, I find curling your lashes is one of the most important steps as it makes such a difference. I like the Shiseido Eyelash Curlers, as they’re one of the easiest I’ve found to use and they makes such a big difference to how awake your eyes look. When you want your eyelashes to have a gentle flutter and to look girly, I love the DHC Perfect Pro Mascara. The brush is so tiny which makes it easier to use.

For face makeup, I love to use the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in Angel when I want my look to be incredibly natural. It comes in a tiny bottle, but each drop is so pigmented that it lasts for such a long time. The formula is also really watery which means it blends well and adds some moisture to my dry skin. You can use the matching watercolour brush, which makes the whole thing fool proof.

For lips, as the cheek colour was so easy I also used it on the lips. You can use a lip brush to make things look a little neater, or just pat the colour in with your fingers. To add a little bit more shine. I like to use a tinted lipbalm. It’s so easy and hassle free but also adds a little bit of polish to the finished look without ever looking overdone. I love the Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector.
