About Keavy
Keavy: I’m Keavy, Communications and Campaigns Assistant at Escentual.
How has this year been different for you?
Keavy: I know I’m not alone when I say this year has been completely different from any I’ve experienced before. However, despite the negative effects like not being able to see friends and family and limited places to go, it has offered me so much more than I could have ever hoped for. I’ve learnt to really appreciate the little things and the important people that I have in life (more than I did before lockdown).
Keavy on Christmas
What Christmas traditions do you have, and how will you be switching them up this year?
Keavy: Usually, for Christmas, this means seeing friends and family visiting from England but this year it may have to be a virtual affair! One tradition that will be kept the same is that every year all my family buy my dad the same Christmas present because he doesn’t like anything else; every year he’s snowed under by Thornton’s Chocolate Covered Gingers!

Keavy: My flatmates are my best friends – I feel so lucky to live with them!
Tell us about your relationship with them
Keavy: My relationship with the girls is everything. From having fun going out, sitting on the sofa in pyjamas with a good film to long walks where we scout out the best coffee places!
What have they done this year that has made you smile?
Keavy: In a year where doing fun things has been limited, I’ve appreciated walks around Roath Park, film nights and planning things to look forward to.
What’s the happiest memory you have with them?
Keavy: Being in university and the countless good times we had then!
How do they make your Christmas extra special?
Keavy: We always have an annual flat Christmas Dinner and this year will be no different.
What would you like them to know?
Keavy: That they are valued and I’m beyond grateful for them all!
