Fragrance Amnesty 2014

It’s a new year, so how about a new start? From now the 13th to the 31st of January, we’re bringing back the #FragranceAmnesty, a show-and-tell of regretful purchases, mismatched gifts and fizzled-out scent affairs that have left you with fragrances that you’d rather not have. It’s your chance to pass that fragrance on to someone else who might really appreciate it, and get a little something back to put towards your new scent purchase.

What to do

Want to take part? It’s easy! All you have to do is tweet a picture of your unwanted scent to us @Escentual (remember to include #FragranceAmnesty) and tell us about the fragrances that you normally go for. Not only will we recommend a more suitable fragrance for you, but we’ll give you a £3 voucher towards your new perfume passion. What’s more, if you send your unwanted fragrance to us using the freepost address below, we’ll pass it on to the charity Give and Make Up – and we’ll alter your £3 voucher to one worth £7.

Where your fragrance will go

Your unwanted fragrance will go to a fantastic place. Give and Make Up is a non-profit initiative that works with Women’s Aid and Refuge, and their sole purpose is to get everyday essentials and toiletries into the hands of women and children who need them the most. They accept unwanted, lightly used make-up, toiletries and baby products. See the full list and find out how you can donate your toiletries here.
