Guerlain Mon Guerlain: Angelina Jolie

With the unveiling of the masterful Mon Guerlain fragrance, an iconic new partnership is born: that of Guerlain Parfumeur and Angelina Jolie.

The embodiment of modern, illimitable femininity, Angelina is the perfect representative of Mon Guerlain. Her roles as a filmmaker, Special Envoy of the UN Refugee Agency and the co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative make her a true renaissance woman, with a compassionate spirit that led her to donate her entire salary from the Mon Guerlain campaign to charity.

“We create perfumes for the women we admire”

JACQUES GUERLAIN

Thierry Wasser, Master Perfumer, was inspired both by Angelina and the choices, emotions and dreams of womanhood when creating Mon Guerlain, orchestrating a fresh oriental fragrance that forms the ‘notes of a woman’.

The result is a creative impulse; fearless yet gentle, free yet inspired by compassion for others. It is a fragrance for all women who defy categorisation and embrace all sides of themselves.

The story of Mon Guerlain begins in an unusual location: Cambodia, far from Guerlain’s home in France. This is where Angelina was directing her film First They Killed My Father, and where, in December 2015, the partnership between Angelina and Guerlain was formed.

That’s not the first time they met, though; the link between the two icons first began in Angelina’s childhood, with memories of her mother’s love of a Guerlain powder. The story continues with a trip to Provence in France, the setting of the Mon Guerlain film “Notes of a Woman”, and a place that Angelina and her family has known and loved for many years.

With its sense of authenticity and ethereal lighting, which inspired the greatest painters, Provence creates the perfect backdrop to a beautiful narrative of strong, free and beautiful femininity. Discover the film below…
