Product Pick: Institut Esthederm Intensive Hyaluronic Serum
Why did you buy this product? I found out I had dry skin about a year ago and since then I’m always aware of this fact when I choose my skincare products. Serums are a quick and easy step to add extra ingredients to your skin. At 41 years of age, I’ve noticed more fine lines and had heard that this was a great option for plumping them out and making them magically disappear!
What did you love about this product? This skin-quenching serum is the answer to my prayers. Its three forms of pure hyaluronic acid plump out any fine lines and leave my complexion looking smoother; in a nutshell, I love that it makes my skin appear more even and the texture is improved.
Will you be repurchasing it? (Or do you have your eye on something else next!) I would repurchase this – if I wasn’t such a serum-addict and want to try something new! That said, I would definitely come back to this one and would recommend it to anyone looking for a way to smooth fine lines.

Product Pick: La Roche-Posay Make-Up Remover Milk
Why did you buy this product? I wanted a milky cleanser that would remove all my makeup properly and was suitable for my sensitive and dry skin as well as being affordable. The La Roche-Posay Make-Up Remover Milk tick all these boxes and more, and for this reason has now gained ‘staple status’ on my bathroom shelf!
What did you love about this product? I trust it, completely! I know on days when my skin is feeling dry, tight and irritable, I can rely on this formula to remove all my makeup without upsetting my skin. I find its soothing milky formula is also super hydrating compared to some of the foaming cleansers I’ve used in the past that have dried out my skin (never again!)
Will you be repurchasing it? (Or do you have your eye on something else next!) Yes, yes and yes! I’ve got it waiting in the basket of my latest French Pharmacy order.

Product Pick: Nuxe Reve de Miel Honey Lip Balm
Why did you buy this product? When I first started at Escentual, everyone hyped about this lip balm so I had to try it – and instantly fell in love!
What did you love about this product? I love the rich, nourishing texture as well as the sweet citrus scent. You can feel it restoring and repairing your lips as you wear it, and I love the fact that the rich balm isn’t sticky or uncomfortable on the lips as that’s one of my pet peeves when it comes to lip balms. If you have dry lips that feel sore and chapped, this is bound to be your new go-to.
Will you be repurchasing it? (Or do you have your eye on something else next!) Definitely – I repurchase this lip balm every time it runs out and think I will do forever – it’s for sure a desert island product of mine!

Product Pick: La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Cream
Why did you buy this product?
Being completely honest, I wouldn’t have tried Toleriane Ultra if it wasn’t for my NightInWithEscentual and La Roche-Posay. It’s one of those moisturisers you hear and see people raving about, but I didn’t think my skin needed it; oh how wrong I was.
What did you love about this product?
The no-frills element – it’s done more for my skin than any other moisturiser has in the past. And that’s because it’s so protective and hydrating. My skin feels softer and more unified day by day. I can also report the glow this gives is a hidden bonus you won’t find out about until you try it – it’s a gorgeous makeup base too!

Absolutely, I’m too scared to not be without it now! I’ve even sold 5 to my friends and family, and they’re all taken back by how good it is!
