French Pharmacy: 10 Year Anniversary
If you’re a loyal Escentual customer you’ll probably know us for our quarterly French Pharmacy sale, where you can buy all your favourite French Skincare for 1/3 of the price. And, it so happens that French month has just started on Escentual, too. But, what’s even more exciting is that this year is actually our French Pharmacy 10 year anniversary. To mark this exciting milestone, we wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to old and new customers for taking us this far!
Cardiff Half Marathon: Tom
Escentual Team member, Tom did us proud; over the weekend he ran The Cardiff 2022 Half Marathon. This is Tom’s 3rd Half Marathon and he plans to do many more. We are fiercely proud of our own team and take any opportunity to shout about their individual achievements outside of work. Go, Tom!
The Oscars
Forget the drama between Will Smith and Chris Rock, the most memorable part of the Oscars 2022 is always the outfits and makeup looks on the red carpet. This year’s ceremony had an impressive series of custom fits from Dior, Valentino to Chanel, paired with a trend of minimalist makeup, which we love. Here are some of our favourite celebrity looks…
Anya Taylor Joy: Dior
Dior’s global ambassador, Anya Taylor Joy rocked a sheer black Dior corset, which took an eye-watering 60 hours to make – but we think you’ll agree, it was worth it; it’s gorgeous! Paired with a classic red lip, the after-dark look was one of the all-time favourites from this year’s Oscars.
Zendaya: Valentino
There won’t be any surprises when we say that Zendaya is also one of our favourite dressed celebrities from this year’s Oscars. Wearing an haute couture Valentino chic shirt and silver ensemble, paired with natural makeup, Zendaya looked smart and elegant.
Zoe Kravitz: YSL
The face of YSL Black Opium Face, Zoe Kravitz, swapped her usual punky rock chick look for a pink YSL gown decorated with a girly oversized bow.
Bridgerton
Bridgerton season 2 has returned and so has our obsession with flushed skin, Regency-era fashion and florals galore. As well as taking up 8 hours of our time in the evenings, Bridgerton fever seems to have an influence over our beauty and fashion choices, too.
Bridgerton Makeup
When you talk to anyone about what they’re watching at the moment, it’s Bridgerton. In between the series’ plot of hot gossip, love matches and steamy scenes, there’s also a unique regal look of flushed skin, glass skin and tight up-dos that have made for a source of inspiration amongst beauty influencers…
With beauty brands such as Pat Mcgrath even collaborating with Bridgerton to create this iconic makeup look in their most recent makeup collection…
Bridgerton Fashion
Bridgerton seems to be influencing the way we are applying our makeup and our fashion choices. From tiaras, corsets and florals, brands are modernising Bridgetons Regency-era fashion style into wearable collections that any fan of the series will fall in love with. Personally, we love these collaborations as they allow so can live out our own Bridgerton fantasy! Keep scrolling to see some of our favourite Bridgerton inspired fashion collections…

British Vogue X Tiffany
British Vogue and Tiffany & Co are back with their annual Fashion and Film party #BritishVoguexTiffany. The iconic fashion magazine and jeweller celebrated high fashion and glistening jewellery in a gorgeous party that not only looked incredible but also was hosted for a good cause; we loved that to attend, each film and fashion celebrity had to donate through Vogue’s charity partner the @DisastersEmergencyCommittee to help those affected by the devastation in Ukraine.
