Dior Colour Gradation Spring Look
Share
Looking for an injection of colour to chase away the winter blues? You’ve found it in the Dior Colour Gradation Spring Makeup Look! For this limited edition collection, Dior has masterfully taken the tried and tested codes of spring – namely its flushed, glowing tones – and given them a truly modern interpretation with ombre and textured updates.
Colour Gradation is all about discovering the fun in beauty with a chic twist (this is Dior, after all!). Think just-bitten lips with a nourished sheen, nuanced blue eyes the colour of the ocean, and coral tones for the cheeks that bring the complexion to life.
Forget your perceptions of what a spring makeup look should be all about, because Dior just moved the goalposts. You’re going to love it…
Diorskin Nude Air Colour Gradation
in 001 Rising Pink
For the prettiest diffused glow, you need the limited edition Diorskin Nude Colour Gradation Blurring Powder in 001 Rising Pink. This clever powder isn’t a highlighter; instead, it creates its glowing effect by blurring imperfections and subtly catching the light.
The delicate pink hue of 001 Rising Pink gives fair to medium skin an incredible freshness that’ll have everyone wondering just what you’ve done to your skin – it’s imperceptible! Apply to the forehead, the bridge of the nose, cheekbones and the chin with the included kabuki brush and see the difference to your finished makeup look.
Dior Colour Gradation 4 Colours
in 001 Blue Gradation
For spring 2017, DIOR is dressing the eyes with the Dior Colour Gradation 4 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette, available in the moody blues of 001 Blue Gradation and the lively corals of 002 Coral Gradation. The two new colourways of the 4-Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette take inspiration from the mesmerising colours that unfold when the sun sets and the blues of a lagoon intertwine.
For the look above, we played with the vibrant hues of 001 Blue Gradation, a quad of vivid blues that evoke the deepest depths of the ocean. From an icy white-blue to a deep indigo, this colourful palette makes the eyes pop. Adorned with the emblematic DIOR “plissé” pleating, the limited edition eyeshadow palette delivers high impact colour to the eyes, with no powdery effect.
Diorshow Mono
in 391 Now
The Colour Gradation collection does not disappoint when it comes to new Diorshow Mono Professional Eye Shadow shades either, with the addition of 391 Now. Contrasting to the soft colour blends of Colour Gradation 4 Colours, the Diorshow Mono in 391 Now presents bold, saturated colour, which can be worn alone of paired with other shadows for extra graduation.
391 Now saturates lids in pigmented colour, a teal-navy hybrid that will make all eye colours shoot to the surface.
Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub
in 001
Before trying the Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it was a straightforward lip exfoliator. But, like everything Dior, there’s a little more than meets the eye!
The Lip Sugar Scrub isn’t actually meant to be massaged on and then rubbed away; you apply it and then leave it on. The exfoliation comes from a lightweight infusion of sugar that buffs lips before melting onto the skin, while a mango butter base leaves lips nourished and impeccably smooth. And best of all? Dior has included that signature Lip Glow hint of a pink tint so that your lips are always looking perfect.
Dior Addict Lip Glow
in 006 Berry
The dewy, plump lip continues with the new Dior Addict Lip Glow in 006 Berry, a limited edition colour variation of the iconic Lip Glow. Part balm, part lip colour and all-round brilliant, this intelligent nourisher not only smooths and moisturises lips, it also caresses them with a pH reactive shade of berried red.
If you’re looking for a low-maintenance bitten effect lip, look no further. This delicious hue looks a little scary in the bullet, but once it’s on the lips it transforms into your perfect shade of not-quite-red.
Rouge Gradient Lip Shadow Duo
in 575 Pink & 755 Red
How’s this for a bit of fun? The Rouge Gradient Lip Shadow Duo is Dior’s offering for those who’ve always wanted to try an ombre lip, but didn’t quite have the right tool for the job. Our favourites are 575 Pink, a fancy fuchsia and coral duo, and 755 Red, a combination of plush red and rosebud pink.
The powder-to-cream finish of Rouge Gradient is really easy to work with; apply the lighter shade all over the lip, and then go back in with the bolder shade to add your ombre effect. You can dab from the centre of the lips outwards for a bitten effect, or work from the outside in like Emma did above to make lips appear larger. It’s a surprisingly versatile product!
Dior Vernis Nail Lacquer
in 873 Sudden & 340 Maybe
This spring, Dior Vernis brings a playful edge to your manicure with an eccentric array of vivid tones. With each manicure booster infused with a glossy finish and pearlescent shine, all of the Colour Gradation shades are the perfect way for you to get creative with colour, with a classic, couture style.
As you can see above, 873 Sudden is a bold fuschia hue that adds a modern twist to a classic pink manicure. 340 Maybe has a peachy, warm tone which mirrors the energetic fun found in the Dior Colour Gradation look as a whole.
