October has definitely been a month of extravagant launches. From the well-awaited Christmas makeup collections to the influx of gift sets that have been steadily arriving on site, it’s safe to say, this month it was easy picking out a few, firm favourites.
Comprising of some limited editions and a groundbreaking skincare serum that’s bound to be on your radar, we’ve been bursting to share this lust list with you. Scroll down below to find your new October favourite…
Guerlain Meteorites Gold Pearl
All you need to do is look at this beauty item and you’ll understand why I am head over heels in love with it. Not only does it look ultra luxurious and destined for my dressing table, but it also holds one of my all-time favourite products: Guerlain Meteorites Pearls.
For Christmas 2017, Guerlain has dressed their iconic radiance-enhancing pearls in this gold ensemble and I for one am obsessed! Destined to light up complexions, this collector’s piece is perfect for the festive season.
Vichy Mineral 89 is definitely the French Pharmacy product of the moment. Ever since the super serum landed on my desk I have been using it morning and night to give my skin a much-needed boost of hydration and pollution protection- and it really works! Packed with the highest concentration of Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water ever, this is the perfect solution to winter skin. You can read my full review here.
It was love at first swipe for me and the Benefit Punch Pop! in shade Mango. A vibrant orange-red, this high-shine lip colour is non-sticky, creamy and long-wearing – what more could you want? I’ll admit, I didn’t expect to enjoy wearing these, as I am more of a lipstick lover myself, however, I was pleasantly surprised at just how long they lasted on my lips.
Available in 5 juicy shades (see all the swatches here), the Punch Pop! line-up is well worth a look if you’re a fan of lustrous lip colour that stays put.
NIOD Survival 0
I have a soft spot for all NIOD products, but I’ve taken a particular interest to Survival 0, as since trialling it, my skin’s texture has never been so smooth. After using this night treatment every evening for 2 weeks, I can definitely see a clarified difference. What it does is repair all of the cellular damage caused by the environment, infrared and the dreaded blue light. So if like me, you’re always on your phone, NIOD’s Survival 0 should definitely be on your to try list!
MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Liquid Matte in 301 Rust
After trying this on my lips as a whim for a quick dash to a meeting, I’ve never had so many compliments! So for that reason, 301 -Rust had to belong in my favourites this month. As well as its warm, beautiful shade the longevity on this lip colour is impressive. Coffee-cup proof; it’s safe to say, I’ve finally found a complementing pop of colour to add to my basic nude lip wardrobe.
PAYOT Masque Charbon – Ultra Absorbent Mattifying Care
I’m always on the lookout for new face masks, so when the PAYOT Masque Charbon landed on my desk, as sad as it sounds, I was completely in my element. In keeping with the whole Charcoal trend and ticking all of my oil-banishing boxes, I highly recommend this clay-based mask for those that suffer from breakouts and a shiny t-zone. It purifies and detoxifies skin without the overdried feeling and that’s why I love it.
