It’s been a fair few months since I picked my favourite beauty buys of the month, but I’m back with a bang! This month I’ve been all about feel-good beauty, from the fragrance that makes me feel a little more glam, to the body wash that makes me want to drop everything and snuggle my baby (even more than usual!)…

Elie Saab Girl of Now Gift Set

I stopped wearing perfume during my pregnancy, only flirting with a few old favourites here and there when the mood struck me. Then this delicious confection from Elie Saab launched in autumn, and I’ve found myself right back in the throes of perfume addiction! Girl of Now radiates laidback, sensuous luxury with its notes of orange blossom (love!), bitter almond and tonka bean. Each spritz makes me feel a little more polished, even if I’m running late and my top is a little crinkled.

Bioderma ABCDerm Gel Moussant – Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel

The Bioderma ABCDerm Gel Moussant is without a doubt, my favourite wash to use on my little one. It’s everything you want from a baby bath product; it’s versatile (use it in the bath, on the body and in the hair), gentle and it smells utterly gorgeous. Get the big pump bottle or the squeezable tube and keep it by the bath for ultra soft skin with minimum fuss. Read my thoughts on other products in the Bioderma ABCDerm collection here.

Nuxe My Dream Gift Set

Now, nothing in this honeyed collection is new. But this gift set is new on site, so I hope you’ll give me a pass! I’ve waxed lyrical about how much I love Nuxe time and time again, especially its decadent Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil, which is an icon everyone needs in their collection. This set has the added bonus of extra nourishment in the form of the Reve de Miel Lip Balm and the Reve de Miel Hand Cream. That’s winter skin sorted, then!

Despite consuming beauty 24/7 I still always long to find makeup, skincare and fragrance underneath my Christmas tree! And believe it or not, there are always gifts for the beauty lover that has everything – the trick is to find items with a certain special touch to them, whether that’s a gift set packed full of bestsellers or a coveted collector’s edition. I would start by saying that I’ve been obsessed with highlighters this month, but I’m obsessed with highlighters every month! So, unsurprisingly when I saw the Benefit Hello, San FrancisGLOW! Gift Set land on site, I knew it was fate! Packed full of some of my favourite Benefit products, it’s a treasure trove for anyone that’s highlight mad like me. Guerlain Rouge G Exceptional Complete Lip Colour in 823 Flaming Red

Maybe I shouldn’t say this, but the Guerlain Christmas collection is my favourite of all the Christmas collections this year. That’s why you may have noticed I featured something from the collection in last months favourites too (see that here). In October I was having a meteorites moment and this month, I’ve been getting myself into the festive frame of mind with the Guerlain Rouge G Exceptional Complete Lip Colour in 823 Flaming Red. A statement red lip with equally as statement packaging, this vivacious crimson shade comes housed in a collector’s edition case that screams luxury beauty.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir Anniversary Edition Bauble

This is by no means new, but its new golden packaging is and isn’t it glorious? One of my hands down favourite beauty items ever, the Beauty Elixir is an award-winning face mist that sets makeup, hydrates skin, minimises pores and if that’s not enough it smells divine, too! As soon as I set eyes on this little gem I knew I needed to reintroduce it into my beauty routine ( I had one of those ‘why did I stop using this’ moments), so now the Caudalie Beauty Elixir Anniversary Edition Bauble is taking pride of place on my dressing table. I highly recommend it as a stocking filler for any beauty aficionado!

If there’s one scent that’s stolen my heart this season, it’s AURA MUGLER. Blending notes of sweet rhubarb and the exclusive and mysterious Tiger Liana facet, if you like oriental fragrances with a fresh twist, this should be your next perfume to try! AURA is completely different to the iconic ANGEL and ALIEN fragrances. However, I love the fact you can still smell the unique MUGLER bloodline in its unusual but loveable juice – you’ve got to go and smell it!
