There’s a distinctly tasty feel to my picks this month! Pastry-like fragrance, almond body oil and a scented cheeks the colour of macarons… what could be better?

Elie Saab Girl of Now Shine Eau de Parfum Spray
A fragrance for those who like to stand out, Girl of Now Shine is a gilded solar gourmand with tonnes of character. A combination of roasted pistachio and creamy ylang ylang are brightened with a zing of pineapple in the first hour or two of wear, which then mellows out to become a deliciously sensuous blend of vanilla accented with facets of almond and orange blossom. It smells like a frangipane in the best way possible!

L’Occitane Almond Cleansing and Softening Shower Oil & Refill Gift Set
I’ve made no secret about my obsessive love for the L’Occitane Almond collection – I pretty much credit the Almond Supple Skin Oil with saving my skin during pregnancy last year. Although it’s not a new product, I wanted to make you aware of an unbeatable offer for fans of the Almond Shower Oil that’s just launched: for a limited time, this gift set provides the equivalent of 750ml of delicious shower oil for £31.50! Considering that it’s normally £17.10 for 250ml bottle, it’s a brilliant saving for regular users. I’ll race you.

Benefit Hug, Hug Hurray! GALifornia Lip & Cheek Gift Set
Speaking of value, if you’re a fan of Benefit’s iconic blushers (and who isn’t, quite frankly), then you won’t want to miss this awesome offer. For the same price as buying the full-sized GALifornia blush powder alone, the Hug, Hug Hurray! also throws in a full-sized Punch Pop! Liquid Lip Colour in Cherry, a deliciously juicy hot pink gloss. GALifornia is my go-to summer blush; its warm pink tones look so good on everyone and it really helps to perk up your complexion, whether you’re sunkissed or not. This great offer is also available for the iconic Hoola bronzer, here.

I have hit the beauty jackpot this month. I’ve found my new holy grail foundation, a bronzer that helps me to channel my inner golden goddess and a fragrance that feels as if it was made just for me…

Benefit Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation
I feel like June has been Hello Happy month for me. I’ve been writing about it (see my swatch post here), wearing it and basically telling everyone that they need it.

Why do I love it? Well, that’s easy: it makes my skin so healthy and fresh. When it comes to foundation I’m all about naturally enhancing your skin and so is Hello Happy. It offers coverage without being cakey, has a liquid formula that blends effortlessly into skin and dries with a radiant matte finish that’s not too flat or dewy. If I could make my own foundation, it would be pretty close to this!

Shiseido Synchro Skin Cushion Compact Bronzer Compact Bronzer
I’m a big fan of the Synchro Skin range. If you look back through my previous Beauty Team Favourites picks you’ll see the foundation and illuminator pop up, and I still adore them to this day.

So, naturally when the Cushion Compact Bronzer launched this month I had high expectations. And, luckily, it was everything I wanted it to be; lightweight, easy to blend and most importantly for me it looked natural without looking lacklustre. The result is skin that looks softly sun kissed and super healthy.

Miller Harris Hidden in the Rooftops Eau de Parfum
I’ll admit, before this scent I had never owned a Miller Harris fragrance. Don’t ask me why, because after enjoying Hidden in the Rooftops all month it’s apparent I have been missing out big time!

Hidden is pretty much everything I look for in a perfume. It’s bright and feminine with a glowing warmth thanks to added honey notes, that just makes you want to keep spritzing it, which is exactly what I’ve been doing.

If your summer is awaiting a sprinkle of radiance and a spritz of something fresher than a thirst-quenching Elderflower Collins, you’re going to love my June favourites…

Van Cleef & Arpels Collection Extraordinaire Neroli Amara
A woman of many fragrance contrasts, but I’ll never say no to a pretty perfume, or anything that comes from the house of Van Cleef & Arpels too. Neroli Amara has completely taken me back, as it’s way more feminine than I something usually go for. Mind you, that’s not surprising, white florals are definitely having a moment right now.

Considering its main notes are orange flower and citrus, Neroli Amara isn’t heady or zingy fresh, it’s more of an elegant floral, sweetened in honey and drenched in sunshine. It’s familiar but different and I would say it definitely strikes the perfect balance between feminine and fresh

Daniel Sandler Watercolour Liquid Blush Customisable Colour Set
You can never have too many Watercolour blushes, said no-one, ever; well, mainly me, as this month I’ve loved mixing and matching the shades in Daniel Sandler’s Customisable Colour Set for Cheeks. If like me, you just want colours that are going to warm your skin and make you look extra glowy, without interfering with the longevity of your other makeup bits, I highly recommend this set.

How do I use them? Well, Sun Glow has become my everyday essential. I mix it with foundation, highlight my legs and décolletage with it, you name it, Sun Glow does it all. Luxe is my new favourite blusher too, it kisses your skin with that first crush glow, A.K.A it’s one of those barely-there apricot colours that you’re forever searching to find.

Issey Miyake Nuit d’Issey Noir Argent Eau de Parfum
I know, Noir Argent is a men’s fragrance, but trust me, once you’ve smelt it, you’ll completely understand why it’s made it into my June favourites. After sniffing out every male launch of the year so far for a recent content piece, nothing compared to Noir Argent. I think it says a huge amount about a fragrance when opposite sexes want to wear them too.

So how does it smell? It has the signature freshness of Issey, but this time around, the usual watery facets are busy simmering with pepper and spices. A fusion of both warmth and coolness, it’s hard not to love this fragrance. I’m yet to come across anyone who has said a bad word about it either.

Over to You!
