Product Pick: Moschino Gold Fresh Couture Eau de Parfum Spray
Why did you buy this product? I was lucky enough to be gifted Moschino Gold Fresh Couture last Christmas; I never expected to love it as much as I did!
What did you love about this product? After watching ‘Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer’ on Netflix, Moschino will always have a special place in my heart. But, when it comes to the scent itself, I just love how warm and exotic it is. Gold Couture is a very clever fragrance; the bottle really contradicts the ultra-luxe scent within.
Growing up, I loved wearing Roberto Cavalli, and the smell of Classique when my Mum used to wear it; this fragrance reminds me of those times – it must be the vanilla that’s hooked me in!
Will you be repurchasing it? (Or do you have your eye on something else next!) Since finishing Gold Couture, Toy Boy is my replacement Moschino scent. I love how spicy it is, plus I prefer the bottle.
What will you do with the empty? I’ll recycle the bits that I can!

Product Pick: The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA
Why did you buy this product? Influencers everywhere were talking about The Ordinary so I just had to try them! I decided to keep it safe and choose their moisturiser for all skin types.
What did you love about this product? The hydrating power is outstanding! The Natural Moisturising Factors + HA is enriched with hyaluronic acid, urea and fatty acids to create an innovative elixir that both quenches my skin (it’s very thirsty) and forms a protective veil. After using this for a month, I saw a noticeable difference in my skin’s health; my complexion was softer, smoother and more supple. On days where my skin is especially problematic, I look forward to applying this face cream; it provides a cooling and hydrating sense of relief.
Will you be repurchasing it? (Or do you have your eye on something else next!) Yes – I’m never going back to a life without this moisturiser!
What will you do with the empty? Recycle, recycle, recycle!

Product Pick: Decleor Antidote Daily Advanced Concentrate
Why did you buy this product? Every once in a while, my skin feels like it needs treatment. It’s usually after winter, but also at the end of summer. What I need on these occasions is an antidote to limit the effects of pollution and environmental aggressors on my complexion, while restoring the softness and hydration of my skin. And for me, the solution is Decleor’s Antidote Daily Advanced Concentrate.
What did you love about this product? This serum has a really cooling effect on my skin; there isn’t any stickiness and after every application, my skin feels really soft and supple. It’s water-based too so it hydrates and strengthens my complexion, while the addition of peppermint leaves my skin toned and firmed. Plus, I love the scent of peppermint!
Will you be repurchasing it? (Or do you have your eye on something else next!) I’ve already repurchased it! I always have a bottle for emergencies.
What will you do with the empty? I’m going to keep it to use as a small vase. I love the white bulb bottle – it’s so beautiful!

Product Pick: Klorane Mango Nourishing Shampoo for Dry Hair
Why did you buy this product? I’ll be honest, this was a mixture of hearing so many good things about Klorane’s shampoo, and the fact that I could grab it for a third off during the French Pharmacy promotion (I’m a sucker for a sale!)
What did you love about this product? Everything! I’ll admit that I’ve always had a little bit of a love-hate relationship with my hair; growing up, I often found it really difficult to manage, and the frizz seemed to have a mind of its own! But as soon as I tried this Klorane shampoo, I knew I’d be hooked. I love how deeply nourishing it is (especially when paired with the mango conditioner and leave-in cream conditioner). It leaves my hair feeling thoroughly quenched, super smooth and it looks visibly less frizzy. Plus, I love the fact that it has a vegan, biodegradable formula. A little goes a long way, too.
Will you be repurchasing it? (Or do you have your eye on something else next!) Klorane’s mango shampoo is the hair wash I’ve been looking for my whole life, so, as you can see from the picture above, I’ve already stocked up on it! In fact, I actually have two bottles waiting patiently in my bathroom cabinet. That being said, I’m always looking to find ways to be more eco-friendly in my beauty routine, so once I’ve finished those two bottles, I’m going to try out the Klorane Mango Shampoo Bar.
What will you do with the empty? The shampoo bottle is made using 50% recycled PET, and it’s also 100% recyclable, so it’ll be going straight in the recycling bin.

Product Pick: Dermalogica Precleanse
Why did you buy this product? I love applying lots of makeup but I hate taking it off, and my skin does too – queue angry, red and dry skin! So, I’ve been on the hunt for a gentle oil-based cleanser that easily lifts away all my makeup and doesn’t clog my pores, while still leaving my dry skin healthy and nourished – and Dermalogica Precleanse fitted the bill perfectly!
What did you love about this product? I love how easy it is to remove my makeup with this cleanser; with hardly any rubbing, the oil lifts all my makeup and sunscreen off, creating a nourishing milky oil texture that binds makeup, oil and dirt together to quickly rinse it away (I use a splash of water or a damp flannel). And, I have to mention the balmy lemon scent; it makes using this oil cleanser a spa-like experience and transforms the otherwise chore-like task of taking off my makeup into something I look forward to.
Will you be repurchasing it? (Or do you have your eye on something else next!) Yes, I have to rebuy it; I’m hooked. It has a premium price tag, but I’d rather buy something that I know is excellent quality and is going to do the job properly.
What will you do with the empty? Recycle it.
