The 30 days are up! Here’s what we have to say about August’s best beauty launches!

Catch up on why we picked them:

Our August Beauty Favourites

1. GUERLAIN Double R Serum

Product Pick: GUERLAIN Abeille Royale Advanced Double R Serum

Keavy: All of my skin has just gone plump. I haven’t had that experience with a serum. It’s just the smell, the texture, it’s really a little bit balmy, but still light and fresh. It’s really hydrating. It smells amazing. It looks great. I just have only good things to say about this.

2. Lierac Moisturising Gel

Product Pick: Lierac Homme Energizing Moisturising Gel

Ben: I picked this because I was already using an energising gel in the mornings. This is a lot cheaper than the other one and I think to be honest with you, it does hold up against the other one. I didn’t have a great sleep last night but I used it this morning and like immediately like the puffiness around the eyes was reduced. And so I think I will continue using this.

3. Issey Miyake Eau & Magnolia Intense

Product Pick: Issey Miyake Eau & Magnolia Eau de Toilette Intense

Hannah: This has really changed my opinion on magnolia scents and I definitely won’t be scared of that note anymore. It’s a really beautiful fresh scent. I thought it was going to be a bit cloying a bit overwhelming but it hasn’t been at all. I love to go home, get changed and put on some comfy clothes and this is the perfect scent to wear for those nights.

4. Issey Miyake Eau & Cedre Intense

Product Pick: Issey Miyake Eau & Cedre Eau de Toilette Intense

Darcey: I gifted this to my partner because he loves Issey Miyake fragrances and he was really excited. He said that it makes him feel quite calmed and settled which is really important because he has quite a high pressure job. It’s still reminds me of the outdoors and I really like that it has like woody sensual nature. I think this is his first one he’s owned but he’s always been a massive fan.

5. Benefit Gimme Brow Pencil

Product Pick: Benefit Gimme Brow + Volumising Pencil

Ceryn: I’ve been using this all month now. At first I struggled where to put it in my brow routine because I’ve got a lot of the benefit products and I’m loyal to the precisely my brow. What I found worked best for me was pairing it with that.

6. Burberry Hero Eau de Parfum

Product Pick: Burberry Hero Eau de Parfum

Beth: It’s actually probably one of the few fragrances that I’ve been sharing with my partner that I don’t mind having out on the dressing table because it looks really nice and smells really good and now Sean smells really good too. This one’s really powerful. He sprayed it this morning when he left for work and he leaves for quite a long time before me I went downstairs into the kitchen which is where he sprayed it and I could smell that he’d been there so that was impressive to me.

7. Mugler Alien Goddess Intense

Product Pick: Mugler Alien Goddess Intense Eau de Parfum

Beth: Fabulous! I love it. When you first spray it definitely has the most impact. I love it so much that I did have high hopes for it lasting a long time throughout the day. I do wish it lasted a little bit longer, but I would say I did get a good three or four hours out of it.

8. Eucerin Anti-Pigment Tinted SPF

Product Pick: Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day Tinted SPF30

Jade: I’ve worn this product alongside the serum and it’s given my skin that extra protection it needs with the SPF. I was a bit hesitant regarding the sort of shade because I have got a tan so I didn’t think it’d be able to blend in very well but it blends in perfectly.

9. KENZO FLOWER BY KENZO L’Absolue

Product Pick: KENZO FLOWER BY KENZO L’Absolue Eau de Parfum

Cath: I like the original Kenzo, but this one just has that slightly more depth, more longevity. It stays longer. It’s just really intense. And I really like it. You have to be a fan of the original to like this one. But why wouldn’t you.

10. Ralph Lauren Ralph’s Club Parfum

Product Pick: Ralph Lauren Ralph’s Club Parfum

Jade: For me personally I’ve absolutely loved the scent because it’s really woody and spicy, which I absolutely love, but it does dry down to that earthy scent. I feel when I wear it, I spray it in the morning. It does last throughout the day, but I do give it an extra spritz in the afternoon just to get that spicy element back.

11. Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Night Gel-Cream

Product Pick: Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Moisture Booster Night Gel-Cream

Rosa: I have very tenacious spots and since I’ve put this into my routine, it’s almost been like an overnight cure for them. It’s been absolutely incredible. This texture is actually really nice. It’s like a kind of watery gel. You only need quite a small bit and it just glides onto your face. It sinks in really quickly to my skin and just makes it feel so soft and so cared for and so hydrated. I would absolutely recommend giving this a go 100% I really can’t do without it now and I’m going to be so sad when it runs out.

12. Klorane Galangal Mask

Product Pick: Klorane Galangal Exfoliating Mask for Flaky Scalp

Darcey: I absolutely loved the Galangal mask. I was a bit hesitant at first because I have psoriasis so I was a bit worried about getting the grainy texture and kind of working it into my scalp but it’s been a saviour. My hair tends to go greasy with most of shampoos with this it didnt at all. It really calmed any itching or irritation. And I really liked that it just could work it into your scalp and it created like a really nice lather.

13. Klorane Galangal Shampoo

Product Pick: Klorane Galangal Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

Hannah: I’ve absolutely loved the shampoo my hair hasn’t felt itchy I haven’t really had any dry flakes that I’ve noticed it just genuinely has been so smooth. It’s got like a really liquidy texture which I was quite surprised by. I always double cleanse so like I use my shampoo twice and this is like a really nice texture to do that with because it doesn’t strip your hair at all and it just leaves me feeling really, really clean.

14. bareMinerals Phyto-Retinol Cream

Product Pick: bareMinerals Ageless Phyto-Retinol Face Cream

Keavy: If you’re worried about trying retinol and you’re worried it’s gonna sting or hurt. This is the formula for you. It’s really gentle. The texture itself is really creamy and nourishing, especially if you’ve got dry skin.

15. bareMinerals SkinLongevity Serum

Product Pick: bareMinerals SkinLongevity Long Life Herb Serum

Kate: The main thing which I really liked about this is how glowy it made my skin it did really give a radiance to the skin to the point where I could actually just apply this and it looked so I’d sort of used a serum and moisturiser which I think was really impressive.

16. Eucerin Anti-Pigment Serum

Product Pick: Eucerin Anti-Pigment Skin Perfecting Serum

Jade: I chose this product because my pigmentation was quite bad around the forehead area and after seeing the before and after photos, the pigmentation is not completely gone but is really softened down whereas before that was like the first thing you would see on my forehead but now I can hardly see the pigmentation so this product really works
