Simple, elegant and softly sweet, Nude Rose is a blush pink floral fragrance in Philosophy’s Pure Grace range. Introduced into the collection in 2017, Nude Rose is a modern take on the classic rose fragrance. It’s aimed at women who adore soft floral fragrances with a comforting base.
What Does It Smell Like?
This smells like a sparkling glass of rosé, soft juicy peaches and a velvet dress; Nude Rose is a delicate floral fragrance with a certain air of elegant luxury.
My first impressions? It’s got a classically feminine floral scent, it’s sweet and enchanting but not too full-on. A clean and delicate fragrance. The words that came to mind at first spritz were floral, clean, classically feminine and floral.
Then as it envelops, I smelt a beautiful arrangement of velvety rose petals balanced with clean, dewy greens, neroli and bright orange flowers swaddled in the warmth of cedarwood and sensual sun-kissed musk.
I’m of the mind that your perfume should not announce you as you walk into a room; it should fill the senses with mystery when you leave – this is exactly what philosophy’s Nude Rose Eau de Parfum does.

Nude Rose’s Longevity…
Reviews online state that the scent doesn’t last very long on the skin at all for an Eau de Parfum. However, when I put it to the test, brighter notes of zesty bergamot and dewy greens seemed to fade quickly, whereas the rose softened by cosy cedarwood does last a little longer. It does last up to about 5 hours.
Silage is quite weak, but this is intended by the brand. It’s a very intimate and elegant scent that isn’t meant to make a scene. But it does leave a lasting impression on the ones closest to you.
Nude Rose Wears Well During…
A sparkling opening, peachy sweet and floral, this fragrance is summery and upbeat. However, if fruity-floral scents are your thing, this will brighten your day no matter the season!

My Overall Experience
Nude Rose is a beautifully feminine concoction of floral, fruity and woody accords that entice you in with sunkissed musk. Although rose-scented fragrances wouldn’t usually be my favourite to wear, I loved how Nude Rose was toned down with wood and musk to create a modern version of that classic rose aroma. Additionally, I really connected with Philosophy’s values of helping women in mental health crises. I would definitely invest in their products to donate to a good cause.
